...... ...... ...... Peter is originally from Toronto and moved to The States to pursue his Dream of playing Music and Drumming. Could write a book of all the incredible and unbelievable experiences, but not yet! Unfamiliarity always makes for a great introduction and this journey has just begun. ================================================ Peter has recorded and toured with some of the following artists and bands: Commander Cody (2 studio recordings winter of 2008); Sharon Little (3 studio recordings, show casing for Blue Note Records, playing venues in P.A, NYC and Florida opening for artists Bob Schneider, Sergio Mendez, Simone daughter of Nina Simone, Suzanne Vega); Dan May (Studio Recording of "Xmas In My Hometown" fall of 2007 featured on XPN Radio and his album "Long Road Home", toured Ohio, P.A notably opening up for Crystal Gayle); Scot Sax (performing songs from his Waderlust, Feel and solo albums); Fooling April (Recorded 2 music video's which aired on NBC Dig Philly TV Show, Played live on radio 104.5 fm, toured Missouri, Indiana, Florida, W Virginia); Radio/TV Personality Glen Beck (Played Percussion with an ensemble of musicians featuring Anthony Newett @ the Time Warner Building in nyc for Glenn Beck and staff which was recorded as a musical trailer for his 10 city U.S xmas 2008 tour); Celtic artist Burning Bridget Cleary (Performed live several times on Gene Shay folk show on xpn 88.5, Played 2009 Musikfest, 2009 Philly folk festival, amongst a dozen or other festivals all over P.A, Boston, Baltimore etc., opened for Enter the Haggis @ Colonial Theater, toured Maryland, P.A....); House of Fire (Recorded on their self debut record, Recorded music video "Walking Along The Sun" directed by Blake Monahan who won an award for doing this video, appeared on NBC Channel 10 Show! shows primarily in NYC, P.A, Baltimore); Braxton Parker (Played on radio 104.5 fm, playing shows in nyc, d.c, p.a opened up for Ryan Star of famed Rockstar Supernova TV show); Panic Years (Video done by Frontline Philly, radio 104.5, Pittsburgh, nyc, philly shows); Stephen Lyons; Aunt Dracula. ================================================ ================================================ When asked to describe the music that is coming out of Philadelphia right now, he responds, " The music scene in Philadelphia is alive and well with more than a handful of top venues to play at. I often hear disgruntled negative musicians on craigslist saying that 'their is no music scene here', or 'where are all the bands or talent this city says it has'. Philadelphia is a small community; it reminds me of Montreal in the sense that it's somewhat of a small city in that most musicians know either each other, have crossed paths playing the same shows and or have played together. Everything that glitters isn't always gold, but most of what u see is a diamond in the rough!
