So just what is the Peter Vantine Studio Orchestra? Well, the PVSO is simply a vehicle for describing the type of work I have done with my own music and music projects for other artists. This "virtual" ensemble is a combination of sampled and acoustic instruments comprised of software- and hardware-based modules and live performers (who are mostly very patient friends who have put up with my musical explorations for many, many years).
The PVSO has appeared on projects throughout the U.S. and abroad, including recordings, concert events, and Film & TV broadcasts. Included here are a few examples of my original music.
~ Original score for the 1921 silent film version of "Camille" featured on Turner Classic Movies
~ Programming and engineering for the Emmy-award winning National Geographic Explorer documentary "Surviving Everest"
~ String arrangements and orchestrations for Michael Sweet and Stryper (various projects)
~ Multiple film/tv licensing deals with companies such as Platinum Music (London, England), Rumblefish (Seattle, WA) and Triple Scoop Music (Los Angeles, CA)
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy what you hear. God bless!

Count your blessings instead of your crosses; Count your gains instead of your losses. Count your joys instead of your woes; Count your friends instead of your foes. Count your smiles instead of your tears; Count your courage instead of your fears. Count your full years instead of your lean; Count your kind deeds instead of your mean. Count your health instead of your wealth; Count on God instead of yourself.
Dear Peter, You are so talented.. yes, everyone wants a piece of you. We might need a few clones as we close in on September :). ~ Your friend & fan, Sharon
Aww thanks Peter! We are doing fine. A bit lonely but it is gorgeous here and we're taking it all in. Tomorrow we will take the girls to the bio-park, they have monkeys roaming freely and you can even feed the tigers. I enrolled the girls in Japanese school, they love it. I'll have to send some pictures. Send me your email and I'll send you pictures :) Big hugs to you, Laurie and the kids, xoxo Alex
