Here is a list of those that can make me sit still and listen to the whole record at one time....Keith Green, Billy Joel, John Mayer, Bruce Horsby, DeGarmo & Key, Michael W. Smith, James Taylor, Shawn Colvin, Amy Grant, Sting, Elton John, Marvin Gaye, Bee Gees, Rod Stewart, Rush, Mindy Smith, Paper Route, Jude Cole, Richard Marx, Lionel Richie, Bruce Springsteen, Don Henley, Styx, Journey, Stevie Wonder, Chicago, Fleetwood Mac, Aerosmith, and Michael McDonald. Just to name a few....
All you need to know is four things........
1) I'm from Chicago, so I love the Bears, root for the Cubs, and no, I don't like the White Sox.....
2) I'm skilled at many things like listening, trying to stay positive, playing drums - bass - guitar, shooting 84 at golf once a year, keeping one's confidence, writing songs, and seeing the heart of someone - yeah, so don't test me, I'll see right thru you....
3) Saying what I think. Sometimes I wish I had that "filter" that would shut my mouth before I say what "pops" in my head. So if I am quiet, that's the only way I can to not say something....
4) My favorite verse is Proverbs 3:5-6. I'd tell you what it is, but then half the fun is watching someone trying to find Proverbs....it's my foundation of faith.
I write for Cherry Heart Music. We're new but deadly. Gratton Stephens, Managing Member/Pres.; Cassandra Tormes, Creative Director; Wil Easterwood, A&R Assistant; Songwriters: Pete Sallis, James "Bubba" Hudson, Ty Williams, Bill Shore, David Wills, and Jamie Floyd.
Thanks for coming by....

One of my favorite quotes.....
“Let it suffice to say, then, that God perceives the imperfections within us, and because of his love for us, urges us to grow up. His love is not content to leave us in our weakness, and for this reason he takes us into a dark night. He weans us from all of the pleasures by giving us dry times and inward darkness. In doing so he is able to take away all these vices and create virtues within us. Through the dark night pride becomes humility, greed becomes simplicity, wrath becomes contentment, luxury becomes peace, gluttony becomes moderation, envy becomes joy, and sloth becomes strength. No soul will ever grow deep in the spiritual life unless God works passively in that soul by means of the dark night.” – St. John Of The Cross; The Dark Night Of The Soul
should i have my people call your people? or will your people call my people? what if my people don't have cell service on the day your people call or what if when my people call your people, your people are all in the shower and don't hear the ring? tragedy could be just around the corner...are you willing to take those kind of risks?
