   About Pete Silas
My name is Pete Silas and I am a musical guerilla. I take what I want from all styles and create my own. I play touches of Jazz, Classical, Pop, Soul but I am primarily a Rocker, a true Rocker, i worship at the Alter of Buddy Holly, Chuck Berry, Elvis, Little Richard(People always think I'm trying to copy Elvis when I've always copied Little Richard) and Jerry Lee Lewis. If you want the watered down stuff that we have today, I am not for you. I am a throwback to the 50's. See my video on my space or on www.petesilas.com. "WHEN THE WORLD BURSTS APART AT IT'S SEAMS I WILL THINK OF A GIRL I LOVED ONCE WHEN I WAS YOUNG"(THE CREATURE-CHERYL SUITE) See my video here and now, I am the greatest, the prettiest, the baddest man in Seattle, see the pics, I look like a Chinese Elvis, all squinty eyed. SEE THE VIDEO NOW!!!! CLICK ON THE ABOVE VIDEO LINK IF YOU WANT TO BE FRIGHTENED!! I am a little bit Street and a little bit geek I am a streetpoet, the one who watches and feels but does not get too close, the one who speaks for those that can't speak for themselves. I am....A StreetGeek!

Yes, though the greater point is to be willing to include yourself in the gratitude and reverence so that you grow too. Growth takes commitment to what it takes and it is important along your journey into who you shall become, to not let your respect for others, get in the way of your own growing. It is no different when you become a man, you and your father have to respect the space that your new manhood requires or it presents problems for both, and eventually, as nature would have it, the young squire must leave home and begin to live his own law, or he remains forever stuck between manhood and boyhood, and so aloof to his own blessings and powers. Then at some point, EVEN YOUR OWN HEROES MAY BEGIN TO POSE A THREAT to your continuing along the lines of your vision, at which point, THEY TOO MUST, LIKE OLD DRAGONS, BE SLAYED. At least half of my living heroes no longer speak to me because it would appear that I evolved away from what THEIR expectations were, so you know what ? FUCK 'EM ! The other warlords of my youth I still have a great relationship with, though at this point, I am the only master that matters to me. The others I CARE about, but you will come to know the point at which your heroes become your mentors and not your masters, your comrades, your fellow soldiers of the way. In the meantime invest some of that reverence for your own chances, your own luck and see it work small miracles in your world !

...thing is, I am still but a bus terminal that you pass through and since I still occupy that space, you will at some point have to move on, but , like all of us before you, we do realize this as time goes on and we begin to evolve into ourselves. The greatest thing that we can evolve into is ourselves, and so as you go through your other influences, they will go through you and help you to gain more confidence in how you swing it !Meanwhile, I am grateful to have been of assistance to you !
Rock On,
Maitreya !

PS Let me know when it's not raining !

...just make sure that you get out of the way when the two pianos start fighting, I've heard that it can get ugly if the pianos start beating each other out of nowhere, and that it can begin at any time. Dueling uprights is one matter, two grand pianos fighting can tear up a whole club in minutes.....
Stay well and remember that if you think too much, you'll lose your mind !
