Petr ZELENKA is a Prague-based guitarist who studied with e.g. Dave Douglas, Tony Malaby, Peter Bernstein, Steve Cardenas. Since 1995, he is active on the young, dynamically evolving, Prague jazz scene. In 2003, he moved to Paris, lived and worked there for 5 years and recorded there his second CD (Memory Flash, 2008, label Animal Music). During his career, he worked with e.g. Jaromir Honzak,Fabien Mary, James Zollar, Piotr Baron, Macziej Sikala, Milosz Rutkowski, Joel Frahm. He participated at many international jazz festivals (Novosibirsk, Jekaterinburg, La Rochelle, Wroclaw). Now the members of his new trio are double-bass player Rasto Uhrik and drummer Dano Soltis, known from the band Vertigo quintet.
