Greetings dear friends of Northwestern Louisiana. PetSavers is a non-profit organization whose mission is to rescue, protect, and place abandoned or unwanted pets in new homes and provide funds for neutering, spaying, and other veterinary care. We specially provide a safe, no-kill alternative to Animal Control.

We took this mission for love to these pets. However, our space is limited, and if our pets are not being adopted fast enough we won't have room to take on more. Please help us either by visiting our pets at Aaron's Kennels (see a map here), adopting an animal, or passing this page to your friends. You can also help by adding us to your friend list and placing us in your top 8 (16 or 32) friends, that way other people can see our page.

Happy Saturday! I hope you are enjoying your weekend! I'm enjoying mine INSIDE! It's 104 degrees with the heat index
of 111 degrees!!! Too hot for outside unless you're IN some water! LOL
I am cleaning house and contemplating whether or not to bathe my kitty cats...LOL

Hey there~ How are ya? And a little update on my Max-amillion! He went yesterday and
stayed all day at the vet's office...he took his oral med to kill the baby heartworms and he kept it down this time
and did not get sick..they said he did great! So he goes back in 2 weeks for a blood-draw to check for heartworms...
let's hope they are GONE! Keep smiling and have a wonderful day tomorrow...
weekend is getting close! Just know you are thought of often and I treasure your friendship!

Hello :)

Just leaving you a comment about my sweet Maxie. We adopted her from Pet Savers in April of 2007 and it didn't take her long to realize she was HOME, forever. We have never had a love like Maxie. She is also very well behaved, she lets me paint her nails without protest, can catch a tennis ball like a pro, and swim like a fish! (In a kiddie pool that is) She plays hard and sleeps hard, she knows when I'm sick or sad, and tries to make it better. She always succeeds!

Once while I was home alone, she even saved me from an intruder. I think its the only time I've ever heard her bark or growl.

Thank you for saving her Pet Savers! She says thank you too!

Here is recent pics of Daisys Pups we adopted back in March. They think they are still small enough to share a bed. LOL
