green makes me happy. i once had a green drumset and a green guitar. i never could play my guitar very well. come to think of it, i didn't play my drumset very well either. autumn is my favorite season. the cool weather is exhilirating. i like to look at sunlight filtered through layers of leaves. i love the shadows they cast. sunlight hurts my eyes. i used to have a pair of green sunglasses. they were my only pair. they were commandeered and broken, and then i fell in love with the perpetrator. i relish the smell of a forest. it smells like life and decay simultaneously. i love to play in the rain. it makes me feel like a kid again. i like flying kites. i am comforted by the sound of windchimes. i hate it when people get angry unnecessarily. i like it when people aren't afraid to act silly. i like it when people can laugh at themselves. i LOVE wearing costumes. i like camping. i am not afraid of wolves or coyotes, although i am afraid of lions and tigers and bears (oh, my!) i am afraid of crazy people weilding axes (even plastic axes). i do not drink windex. i think fire is sexy. it appeals to all five senses. i enjoy taking care of people. i love to hug. i like holding hands. i hate it when people put others down in order to make themselves feel more adequate. i feel sad when people don't know how wonderful they really are. I LOVE MY HUSBAND. I LOVE MY FAMILY. I LOVE MY FRIENDS. i wish i could sing. i have a great appreciation for ambient lighting. fluorescent lighting makes me feel extremely cold and irritated. i love lying on my back and watching snow fall against a night sky. i enjoy making snow angels. gravel angels are good too, i suppose. if i ever go canoeing and the boat with the ice chest flips, i grab the beer first.... unless the former passengers of the flipped canoe can't swim or think that they can't swim because they're in a state of panic. then i'd have them grab the beer while i save them. i love picnics. i hate to sleep alone. i don't like crawfish. if you invite me to a crawfish boil, i will show up with fried chicken. i am learning to obey my husband more and more each day, but sometimes i am willful. sometimes i am right. i'm wrong a lot, too. i love learning absurd phrases in other languages. i love to go grocery shopping in other countries. if you're in a remote area of the african sahara, it's always good to know how to interpret the phrase "a lion is coming, we're hiding" when played from a distant djembe. i love interesting people. i love anyone who is willing to take a chance and try to love me back. the best friends are always bred by chance. i hate indifference. it's hard being a person.... but somehow, i think everything will be okay. see my new pen?
Who I'd like to meet: people who like to talk about interesting things, people who look good in pearls, people who have bad handwriting, people who like lucky charms cereal, people who have drawn on themselves or a friend with a highlighter while under a black light, people who secretly believe in ufo's, people who'd like to be anal probed, people who wish upon stars, people who laugh a lot, people who like to hug, people who have used scotch tape to tape their noses to simulate a pig snout, people who would never hurt an animal, people who still rock members only jackets, people who like scarves, people who love themselves, people who are horrible at mathematics, people who appreciate the lost art of making macramé baskets and weaving potholders from terrycloth loops, people who can enjoy silence, people who are attracted to imperfection.... oh, and i'd like to meet falcor, the luck dragon from "the neverending story".... he'd let me ride on his back and together, we'd save artax from being taken by the sadness of "the nothing"....
....and i'd like to meet steve wiebe, the one true "king of kong"
Your account has been hacked by an Amish radical group. They have been leaving lewd comments on the pages of those friends who like to show the shoulder while bathing in alcohol. I mean, PEY! When'd you turn Amish?!?! I miss you. Tell me where you LIVE so I can show up with wine or something one day to appease the Amish overlords. <3

The guy Thom Filicia from Queer Eye, the one in charge or interior design, has been in Asheville and has taken a liking to Doug and I, he and his agent have been hanging at the apartment all weekend. They are doing a show for Oprah that will air on her show Nov. 24th, you'll have to check that out. They'll be back on the 21st to paint the town red with us again. (it was fun as hell).
In response to the election, we are all having a "Dark Skin Brothers Are Comin Back Party" up here tomorrow night. It's either going to be a night of excitement, or an evening of RIOTS!!
