Since 2007 Peyoti for President have played profile slots at festivals such as Bestival, Glade, Glastonbury and venues across UK including, Brixton Academy, 02 Shepherds Bush Arena, Londons Roundhouse, Nottingham Rock City & many others. The band have supported top world class artists such as Manu Chao, Ojos de Brujo, Ozomatli, Los de Abajo & headlined many concerts all over the UK and Europe. They returned from their debut tour of Germany & Austria earlier this year.
Peyoti for President released their debut album in May 2009 to critical acclaim in both mainstream music press and specialist world/roots press, Rock n' Reel desrcibing it as "Genuinely & Shockingly Original", Rolling Stone praising the album; "Agitation via world music hasn't been this enthralling for a long time" and The Independent giving the album the top album rating, "hits the ground running and doesn't let up for a moment." The fences on the boarder with mex...are to keep americans in not mexicans out......with presidential Directive 51 ..... martial law is not far from comming and the 800 fema camps will be used to hold anyone speaking out against the system or remembering the constitution......This country will be a Dictatorship ..... and the NAU will come to pass ..... all we can hope for is for awareness to reach critical mass and REVOLUTION / EVOLUTION to kick in ......a new CONCIOUSNESS ......
