Peyton's musical tastes are very diverse...just like her! Led Zeppelin...hands down...are her musical heros but she loves 60's music like The Grass Roots, Zombies & Herman's Hermits to the Super Groups of the 70's. AC DC, Van Halen, Aerosmith, Heart are a few of her faves! A teen of the "hair metal 80's" her formative years were ruled by bands like Poison, Whitesnake, Motley Crue & Def Leppard. In addition, one of her favorite songwriters/performers is Jeffrey Steele who is a hit maker in Nashville. Also, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, John Prine & Hank, Jr. are some of her favorites as well. More musical influences have been international flavors of music; The Gipsy Kings & Greek music top her list. Favorite female vocalists range from Ann Wilson to Dale Krantz to Janis to Pink! A true lover of all music her style tends to be very diversified yet, classc rock at it's core.

Although Peyton has a completely uniques sound lots of people say Peyton reminds them of; Janis Joplin, Beth Hart, Stevie Nicks and Melissa Etheridge.
Peyton Turner started her career in Virginia at age 14. Writing songs and performing at 16 became her passion. While other kids were doing their homework, Peyton was in the clubs singing Rock&Roll. After playing in local bands, she left town at 19 for Pennsylvania where she auditioned for and landed the position of Lead Singer for a group called "Twist of Fate." After a few years together and the release of Twist of Fate Vol.1, the band somewhat fell apart.
Peyton moved to Atlanta where she attended and graduated from the Atlanta Institute of Music with a degree in Voice. Over the next several years, Peyton traveled to LA and Nashville trying to find the place where her songs could find a home. Peyton continued to write, record, and perform, She continued to strive towards her dream: to be a successful Singer/Songwriter/Performer.
In 2001, Peyton returned to PA where she re-banded with a member of Twist of Fate and in turn created The Peyton Turner Band. In Aug. of 2001, Peyton was the semi finalist in the VH1's Rock Star contest. Peyton submitted a video of her performing the movie's theme song and was the one and only video winner from of the United States. Peyton was also the featured artist on Pensylvania's Syndicated TV Program "Morning Magazine."
Peyton has continued to write and sing and is a signed to an Indie label, Rock Hollow Records. Peyton plays the guitar, piano and drums. Peyton strived towards her goal of becoming a hit Songwriter for herself and for others in her life. She is currently in the studio laying tracks for her next CD release.
This year Peyton Turner took the nation my storm on VH-1's reality series Rock of Love II featuring Rock Star Bret Michaels. Bret's search for love brought him to Peyton Turner in season II. In true Peyton style she sat, penned and recorded a tune called, "We Rocked for Love." She performed this homage to Bret Michaels and the Rock of Love experience on the reunion show that aired before an audience of millions. Ever moving onward and upwards Peyton has again aligned herself for success. Bottom line...you cut Peyton, she bleeds Rock & Roll. You'll know it when you meet her...she's genuine.

There is currently a search for two types of bands for record label consideration.
*** Note: PLEASE IDENTIFY IF YOU ARE IN GROUP 1 OR 2 IN THE SUBJECT LINE OF YOUR RESPONSE. Emails are being reviewed by different representatives.
1. A Pop/Rock/Commercial band with female lead. Band must consist of 2 guitars (Prefer both guitar players to be of lead caliber. However, one lead and one rhythm is acceptable), keyboard/piano, bass, and drums. Lead vocal, followed by backing vocals, in that order, is a plus as it relates to other members of the group. Average age of the band cannot exceed 28 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.
2. A Modern Rock band with male lead. Must be a complete band but there are no prerequisites as it relates to the make up of the band. Average age of the band cannot exceed 23 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.
