Well, I'm really into playing the guitar. Been playing for about 9 years, I've played in a series of bands, my favourite probably being "the Voice" band. used to play alot of electric but over the last 2 years really developed a love for acoustic. My dream is to produce an album with another acousitc guitar player. Other than gutiar I really enjoy drawing and sketching, I draw alot of graffiti stuff (though I don't really do wall art, would be cool though), I used to draw a fair amount of Marvel Graphic Novel style stuff but have recently kinda got into manga which i'm finding pretty fun to draw. I never experiment much woth colour which is why most of my drawings are just pencil, I guess I get kinda scared of ruining my drawing if I got messing round with colour, wannna start trying it though.
Here are some of my sketches and drawings:
some manga stuff
Dragon (unfinished, will complete it sometime)
Graffiti Sketch
some more sketches
sketches and letters
some more Graffiti stuff
Road Runner :P
Spider Man and Surfboard Design
My Name, messing round with colour for the first time
"Chris"
The wolf
Sax Player
It's kind of a short film, but I have Ali to thank for introducing me to it - Final Fantacy VII: Advent Children, it's really ace. Actually I have Ali to thank (or not thank) for getting me into manga lol. Anyway, heres a cool thing I found on youtube. Get this, not only is it a great video but it's backed by an absolutely ace song, probably in my top five songs at the moment.
..
Music
I absolutely love music (but I guess you hear that statement from your average 'myspacer') Anyhow, I have quite an eclectic taste in music. Really into intrumental guitar music and progressive rock, aswell as classic rock, then really acoustic, melow stuff. On the other side, i'm really into Rap and Hip-Hop. So yeah, I've just re-done my profile, before there was a pretty legnthy list of the all the bands and artists that I like, I've cut it down to just the very best now
Andrew W.K.

† I can do everything through him who gives me stregnth (Philippians 4.13) †
OK, a little bit about me, ummm, well to get the obvious stuff out of the way first, my name is Chris, im 19, English Student in Sheffield, born in Birmingham (no accent). I'm a Christian, live my life by faith as a follower of my Lord and Saviour. I play the guitar, I can't sing but it is a talent that I would feel very blessed to have, if I could I would write and sing so many songs and produce an album. but since I can't I pretty much just play the guitar (acoustic. been playing for 9 or 10 years now and only recently discovered the true beauty of the sound that can be achieved from pure acoustic). I would still like to record an album, well actually I have a couple of ambitions along these lines - the first is to record a pure acoustic album (no vocals) of two guitars, me and someone else (it has always been my hope that the other guitarist would be Pip), the second ambition is an acoustic album with vocals, and since it wouldn't be my voice then probably a female singer (probably a mixture of cover songs and some of our own).
Another thing I am into is surfing. Of course my circumstances don't allow me actually do it much, hardly ever in fact but I've always been so drawn to it, I dunno there's just something about it that is so amazing. And the ocean as well, I love it. Camping, probably one of the best past times I have ever found, camping and walking/ hiking. I passed my gold Duke of Edinburgh Award this summer and it was such an amazing experience, I would probably do it all over again if I had the chance. I also trained to be a DofE (Duke of Edinburgh) leader and that was also pretty cool. Just spending a few days out in the middle of no-where just relying on what you know and what you have with you to survive, just kinda makes you forget about whatever bad stuff is going on in your world back home.
OK, the next part about what i'm into, vlogging, or 'video blogging' I have a vlog on youtube, nothing special, although I would very much like to see it become something special, I dunno, I'm sure it will become apparent before long if i am 'vlogging' material or not but I will keep it up for a while...perhaps I could do with a co-host *thinks* anyway, there are quite a lot of people who post their video blogs and stuff on youtube and there are a handful of people who get thousands of hits, who win various youtube awards and become notorious throughout the vlogging world. It is my aim to become one of those, atm I only get somewhere between 50 and 60 views per blog...with the exception of a video I did about "Trident Soft Gum" which got somewhere in the 300s with some pretty bad press aswell. but even so, thats not good enough, I want to be in the thousands just not quite sure how to do that, if the blogs need to be better/ funnier, or whether it's something else I dunno.
what else about me...well, since i'm an English student I do a fair amount of writing of my own material, short stories and novels and that kind of thing. I've written poetry for one module, and now some of that is being published in a Sheffield literary magazine, which is kinda cool cos I didn't really expect any of it to be accepted. Anyway yeah, thats kind of a bit about me. Peace Out!
Oh and one other thing about me...I luuuuuuuuurv the Zelda
Of course as an English student I am partial to occasional bit of Shakespeare...
"And all this day an unaccustomed spirit
Lifts me above the ground with cheerful thoughts.
I dreamt my lady came and found me dead—
Strange dream, that gives a dead man leave to think—
And breathed such life with kisses in my lips
That I revived and was an emperor.
Ah me! How sweet is love itself possessed
When but love's shadows are so rich in joy!"
Romeo and Juliet - Act V Scene I
"All the world's a stage
And all the men and women merely players,
They have their exits and their entrances,
And one man in his time plays many parts"
As You Like It - Act II Scene VI

ok, right here is where I found some random segments of html code that I had no idea about...so I delted them, and am now adding a new section. No-one likes to see a myspace profile that is basicly every video they've ever found on youtube. So here is my new section which is basicly one "cool video" and I'll change it every now and again. It get the title of "cool video" based on whether I deem it to be cool or not, not you :P lol.
8 Mile, among my favourite movies(above)
Who I'd like to meet: hmmmmm, I'm not sure actually (actually i lie, Emma Watson..yeah SO WHAT! lol). But here are some people I have met. I could talk at lengths about why each of these are so amazing, I really could &hearts love all of them. And of course many more.
This is Kat, my sister. One of the closest people to me. She is absolutely awesome and has always been there even when no-one else has (I know that sounds clichéd but it's true). Has some amazing holidays away with Kat and built up some inside jokes that can bond people in a way you will never understand :P lol. Greatly appreciates all time family classics such as the Narnia series, Lorna Doone and after 5 years has got me into Harry Potter. A true fiend (not cos of the Harry Potter thing, just anyway).
Ali. Met him right here on myspace quite a while ago, cos like, I knew Charlotte, and Charlotte knew bunny, and Bunny knew Ali. Then met randomly a little while after at Bunny's 18th, always got on well but in the recent months he has become one of my closest mates. And hopefully will be house mates this coming September up in Sheffield xD
Cath, I love this person so much. Amazing to be around and spend time with. I honestly can't think of a time that it hasn't been good to be around her. Some of the best times in my life have been with her, especially this summer, we went to Cornwall, had a good time ^_^
Nicky C, an absolute legend of a guy. Known him since the early days of Middle School when he used to tell me not to be silly whenever I put a foot out of line...now, there a few people quite as sily as Nick, walks, lil dances, awful shirts...and ties. One of my best mates. A guy who always seems happy and cheerful about something, even if it's a brightly coloured shirt lol. He's awesome!
Frankie, a total individual, never fails to make me laugh. And there probably aren't many other people I can have conversations quite as stupid as the ones we have...weirdo :P she makes false claims about...things that I like to do which are just not true *shakes head* wouldn't waltz with me in Pizza Hut so I had to do it with Pip, ugh lol, but still, a nice collection of good times.
Pip, who else can I just be totally stupid around and still not look the one who is making a scene?? and listen to music that either no-one else has heard of or no-one else likes with lol. He seems to have mastered the art of how to get me annoyed absolutely perfectly and loves nothing better than to keep practice it. Still, he's absolutely ace! A legend for a few things, topping the list is would probably be to two items that Pip is never seen without, a green rain coat and a plastic bag containing almost asmuch litter as the rain coat pockets.
Emily; she's amazing, such a good friend. Known her since Middle School, she was really nasty to me in science class, i forgave her over the years though. We played squash together every tuesday and havenow braved the worst train journey ever together lol. She's such an amazing frind, so glad to keep contact with her.
There are of course, more people. I will add to the list =]
Well, for the past 5 years or something I have flately refused to have anything to do with Harry Potter and stayed clear of the books and the films. The only reason being that it annoyed Kat so intensley :P that was however, until this summer, when Cath sat me down and forced me to watch the films (which I absolutly loved). Then come my birthday a parcel arrives from Kat containing the box set of all the books, timidly I approached the parcel and picked up the first book. I'm ashamed to say I haven't been able to put them down. I might even go as far to say *deep breath* I'm a fan. *sigh* ah well, it's all good...I bent the spines of the books though....right back!
Ecce! I posted a MYSPACE comment!! OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO - heard you were back for a day recently - why didn;t you call me?! I was probably around doing next to nothing lol
