Running, Hiking, Camping (although it's been awhile), Being Pretty, Gaming, Sitting on the couch (although the last two are somewhat connected).
Music
The Eagles, Bon Jovi and Bruce Springstein... beyond those three favs, I enjoy all types of music, but I especially like classic rock. I've also been known to burst into song at random moments.
Movies
Best overall: Rocky! Rocky! Rocky!; Most fun to watch: Top Gun; Best thriller: Aliens; Best action: The Matrix; Best sports: Rocky; Best comedy: Zoolander ("What is this? A center for ants?!?"); Best drama: Lonesome Dove (made for TV movie, but don't knock it 'till you've seen it.)
Television
LOST... The Office... The Daily Show and ESPN... Ducks football games and Trailblazers basketball games, when I can.
Books
My favorite book is The Trial by Franz Kafka... I read it during a college philosephy class, which I took during the busiest term of my 3 1/2 years... it's about a man who wakes up as people are placing him under arrest, but the people won't say who they work under or what they're arresting him for... throughout the story, the protagonist is trying to figure out his crime, and the details of his trial... it's a quick, gripping read... so read it! After that, I enjoy both fiction (Stephen King books, the Harry Potter series recently ) and non-fiction (Endurance and Into Thin Air were amazing).
Who I'd like to meet: Rebecca's friends back in Texas... My friends from Imperial (FFXI)... Oberon... John Stewert from The Daily Show... Lance Armstrong... I'll add more as I think of them. Oooh, Greg Oden! Hahaha... Rip City!
Peznecker! Greetings from Boston. I hear Washington is crazy with snow...we are too! Miss seeing my favorite (the now ex) Hearld reporter everyday...the good ol' days of chicken california...*sigh* Hope all is well with you and Rebecca :)How is she doing? Great, I hope. BTW I have the maps you drew on my wall. They will guide me through my journey here at Haaaahvud.
I covered a bunch of old H2C territory a little while ago coming back from Astoria. It looks a lot more serene when you're not sleep deprived and constipated.
I noticed on your post that you slipped in the word fiancee... when did this happen? When is the big day.... tell tell!!! I want to know all. Miss you!!
When are you coming to Portland??? A few months after the baby is born, Chris was going to let me ask you and Shawn out to take me dancing.... whaddya think???
As far as who you would like to meet.... I have not formally met Jon Stweart but I did see the filming of his show live in New York. It was awesome. Also, apparently my sister is best friends w/Kevin Duckworth these days. Maybe next time your in town you can come over for a BBQ and we would invite Kevin. Would that make your day?? When will I ever see you again anyway???
I do what I can...you know. That's what it's all about really...motivating people to better their lives...it was never about the chicken. HAHA, yeah right. It's all about the 7.59, man. Only about the 7, 5, 9.
85th story! Congrats, congrats dear Herald reporter. And with the best story being one of the infamous gerbil/hamster I might add. Best one of all thus far in my book.
