Sounds Like
Ethiopian soul-funk meets Henry Mancini by way of the Lounge Lizards in a bare-bones performance that draws on an array of influences to present a new picture of post-jazz.
First forming in 1997, Pfeuti is an accidental post jazz/post rock project from Tokyo, Japan. The influences of the four core members range from free jazz, dub, noise and electronica to punk, exotica and movie soundtracks, which lays the foundation for the Pfeuti sound. Since their formation, they have released several albums and have kept a steady schedule of live shows in and around Tokyo, performing as Pfeuti, or in one of the many other projects they have chosen to undertake (Missing Man Foundation, PicariPon, FDF, CodHead, LegoFriendly, etc.). Their live sets are definitely something to be seen and heard.

Hey Pete,
It's been a really long time since we emailed each other. Many apologies for being so tardy - I'll definitely get one over to you very soon to update you on what's been going on. How's everything with you right now? When are you next in the UK? Speak soon then, and keep cool!
Cheers,
Jake.
