The PwnCast of WRock is our little project of awesome. Dan, Julia and Cody love canon and love Wizard Rock, and therefore had the brilliant idea of combining the two. Every two weeks (baring natural disaster, of which we've had a few) we put out an episode discussing the cannon aspect of a few characters, and the WRock songs dedicated to them.
We love doing this, and we love all of you! So if there's anything YOU want us to talk about or any songs you want us to play, or any WRock shows you want us to pimp, tell us! You can message us, leave a comment here or on our iTunes page, or you can email us at pwfradio@gmail.com
PFW Radio is a sort of side project of ours. Originally we set it up for the Halloween Ball at our parent forum and podcast PotterFicWeekkly (by the way, if you guys don't listen to them you really should, they're totally amazing!). After the ball we decided to keep it going as an online all WRock radio station. But alas, fate had other ideas. Our host Live365.com was being very mean to us and making us give them insane amounts of money, which none of us have, because we're all in school and we're broke. So we stormed their castle and are currently trying to get it back up elsewhere. We'll keep you guys updated with that.
Anyway, do you want to see a picture of us? You know you do. Here we are outside a WRock show in Philly on November 18. Left to right (I almost wrote WRight...wow...) is Dan, Julia and Cody.
Who I'd like to meet: Everyone who loves Wizard Rock as much as we do.
I'm so glad you're back! I love the new episode. It's great. I hope to hear more episodes soon. A Snape episode would be great. Or a Weasley family one.
They let you listen to music during standardized tests? They don't allow iPods during Art exams these days for some utterly stupid reason. Seriously, 3 days of painting the same picture and they don't allow you to listen to music. Evil, evil, evil! XD
Oh, and I can't believe I forgot to mention "A Pensieve Full of Unrequited Love" by The Mudbloods and "Occlumency Lessons" by The Misuse of Muggle Artifacts Office. They are both amazing songs. Please play them.
I love your podcast! I love both the music and the book discussion and character analysis on your themed episodes. For your next themed episode you should totally do Snape. There are so many great Snape songs (for example Ministry of Magic's "Snape vs. Snape" and its sequel "The Bravest Man I Ever Knew", Oliver Boyd and the Rembrall's "Without You", The Weasel King's "Already Dead", Into the Pensieve's "Confessions of the Half-Blood Prince", and Split Seven Ways has about ten different Snape songs). And Snape is one of the most complex and probably the most morally ambigious character in the entire series so he's fascinating to discuss. So yeah, you definitely need to do a Snape themed episode. Keep wrocking!
