Pittsburgh's Third Annual Santarchy will start at 2:00pm at the fountain in the South Side Works on Saturday, December 8, 2007. Same time and place as last year (and nearly the same day)! Remember that Santa is ON TIME until 2:00pm, at which point the herd will be sheparded toward its first watering hole and time loses all meaning. DO NOT BE LATE. If you can't be there by 2:00pm, you better have a backup plan for your costume. A hundred red suits can disappear pretty quickly at the sound of alcohol pouring into glasses. Early Santas get a souvenir book of lewd carols. Late Santas get left behind. YES, you MUST wear a costume. NO, you can NOT get by with a red shirt and Santa hat. BE CREATIVE, ya lazy bum! You don't have to look like Santa, but you MUST NOT look like you. Jeans, in particular, will be removed and destroyed without warning. There will be less of a schedule this year than in previous years, and what little schedule there is, is subject to revision or abandonment at any moment. We're expecting a record number of Santas, elves, reindeer and other critters this year, and who knows what direction they might wander. Stick with the pack and you shouldn't get lost or hurt too badly. If you see more than one pack, stick with the biggest one. Or not. It's Santarchy, not follow-the-effing-leader. Santa is welcome pretty much anywhere he enters, except maybe Dee's. Bring money for public transit, alcohol and food. Bring your ID, because even Santa gets carded these days.

I am telling you this because it is the honest truth, look I should know, they say that it is all in the way you use it, not how big it is, well I got news for you all, that is pure lies. I know from personal experience, I will tell you about a secret that Joey has made me promise to never ever tell anyone, but since he has not called me in three weeks after standing me up, I am going to break the promise and tell you how he went from having a tiny wang and in 4 months he is now about nine inches and get this, it is still getting bigger. He has been secretly taking grow pills from this site, copy and paste the address into your browser to see them. KAKIM.COM I found out when I was at his house, three fridays ago, we were getting ready to go to the mall, so while he was in the shower, I went in his room, sneeked under his bed and found a box with pill bottles in it, there was like 9 full bottles and 4 empty ones, all ordered from KAKIM.COM I was laughing at first but then when he came in the room and caught me looking at them, he freaked out and made me sware to not ever tell anyone about them, especially girls from school or work that he has been dating for the past while, now that I think of it, he has been rather busy with all the popular girls around here, when just last year he was the shyest when it came to girls. I've wanted to explore them ever since I learned of them, but never had the guts to break in. The Rivers of Steel foundation has arranged limited tours of the facility, and tickets are selling out fast! MEETinPittsburgh already has an event planned around it, but that tour is SOLD OUT. There are a few tickets left for the 12:30, 1:30 and 2:30 tours on Saturday, October 28, and I'd love to go but would prefer not to go alone. If anyone else is interested in joining the tour, please let me know ASAP and we can make plans for the same time. Tickets are $20 each. I doubt that this opportunity will ever come again, so if you're even remotely interested in urban exploration, please get in touch with me right away. Meet at 8:00pm in the public parking lot on the corner of Sidney and S 18th Sts to put on mime makeup and the finishing touches on your costume. If you don't have white face paint, don't worry: we'll have you covered (literally!). We'll perform mime standards (stuck in a box, pulling a rope, etc.) as we crawl from bar to bar, drinking at each stop. If a mime breaks the code of silence, we change bars... at least that's the plan, subject to change if a bunch of drunk mimes simply can't stay quiet. Google for "mime" images to get an idea of what your costume should look like. One of our members got a shirt+suspenders combination at a thrift store, and a navy beret at Wal-Mart, for about $10 total. You can get by with more or less. You might also want to pick up a pair of white gloves and/or black eyebrow pencil and/or bright red lipstick. Spotlight Costumes on Carson have gloves for $8 and eyebrow pencils for $1.50. PLEASE DRINK RESPONSIBLY AND LEGALLY. DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE. Pay for your own drinks, and buy the mob a round if you can. And remember our motto: A Mime Is A Terrible Thing To Get Wasted!
