About me:
The Pittsburgh Film Office was established in 1990 to promote the southwestern Pennsylvania region as a location for movie, television and commercial productions. Since its inception, the PFO has brought more than 83 motion pictures and television productions to southwestern Pennsylvania to generate an economic impact of more than $296 million for the region. Some of the productions include: Inspector Gadget, Wonder Boys, The Mothman Prophecies, The West Wing, 10th & Wolf, Graduation, Chasing 3,000, Smith (pilot), The Mysteries of Pittsburgh, Smart People, The Kill Point (TV), The Bridge to Nowhere and Adventureland.
In 2008 the films Zack & Miri Make a Porno, Shelter, The Road and She's Out My League filmed in the region. The film My Bloody Valentine will begin production soon. Check out our blog for details about new film projects, how to submit your resume or sign-up to be an extra!
