pg. 99 were a punk rock band from Sterling, Virginia on the outskirts of Washington, D.C. The band formed as a 6-piece in winter 1998 and later expanded to an 8-piece. Always changing members, they once played as a 14 member outfit. pg. 99 were known for terrifying live shows, which required the dispatch of emergency personnel on a regular basis.
In Connecticut, pg. 99 shows spawned a number of "theme shows" where audience members descended on the pit adorned with items of the evenings theme. Themes included "pool noodle mosh" where the pit was full of foam pool noodles, the "Braveheart mosh" where audience members dressed as Scottish warriors and battled in the pit, and the infamous "pillow fight mosh" where almost half the crowd wore pajamas and battled each other with pillows.
After several US tours, a European tour, and numerous releases, they disbanded in May 2003.
Members of pg. 99 went on to form/join various bands including Malady, Hissing Choir, Corn on Macabre, Pygmy Lush, Mannequin, Gallows, and Haram.
Very aggressive / adrenaline-filled grind from Sweden, perfectly mixed with metal and hardcorepunk elements. Think Nasum, Gadget, Rotten Sound, Trap Them, Pig Destroyer. 10 ultra powerful and dynamic songs which without any doubt will blow your brains out and still keep you moshing!
