Hi, My name is Chris Ratliff (head) of the PGR-IN group (Paranormal Ghost Research Indiana) located in Indianapolis IN. The PGR-IN group has been in existence since the mid 80's and still runs today as an assignment is needed. Paranormal Research has become very popular over the past few years, and we at PGR-IN strive to provide assurance and answers to those that have questions. We try to disprove and alleviate fears when possible, while looking for answers into that great unknown. We do not accept invitations for friendship listings lightly unless you are affiliated with other PG's, but we do take emails, questions, comments, and assignments from time to time as the need arises.
FIRST - let me assure you we are a Paranormal Research group, not a supernatural group. Supernatural refers to anomalies or powers that go above and beyond that of explanation related to god-like powers or understandings. Paranormal refers to anomalies that are just outside human or scientific understanding at present time. Please keep these differences in mind when looking for information into the paranormal universe.
Going into our 22st anniversary of the PGR (now PGR-IN) Group, I want to take a moment to describe the history associated with us.
PGR (Paranormal Ghost Researchers) was founded in 1986 by Mike Randerhan and Wes Caplan as a way of breaking the boredom of college classes. Little did they know how popular it would become later, nor did they realize how involved they would become with it. They have since travelled to many places around Indiana and surrounding states... heck they even got to investigate the Alamo once. PGR has changed leadership 4 times now. Not due to lack of support or group difficulties, but Mike turned over the group in 1993 to Wes so he could further his education in science in a different state. Upon his return in 1997, Wes decided to switch places so he could do the same. PGR had 3 chapters at one time. Mike ran the group but was generally located north near Fort Wayne, IN. Wes had relocated east just outside Richmond IN, and the latest chapter in the west- Danville, (still running by Chris). In October 2006, Mike and Wes decided to leave and start a 3rd party unbiased evidence review and analysis group called R.E.G.A.R.D.S. Turning over leadership and ownership of PGR to Chris Ratliff after his many years of experience and service to the group (since 1994). Under the new name and foundation of PGR-IN, Chris continues to run the group much the same as it has been in the past, focusing more toward the scientific and debunking of paranormal explanations before determining whether paranormal phenomena exists.
Please email us with any questions regarding known and rumored sites, suggetions, stories, local haunts, etc. We love getting together with PG's and discussing finds, stories, techniques, and more.
Thanks go to Mike and Wes (for starting the group), Chris R. (Unitearica)-see myspace link below, and Robert Cobb (The Dean and my right-hand man) and all the other PGR & PGR-IN members throughout the years and yet to come.
Who I'd like to meet: ..Members of other Paranormal Research groups
Hey There! Thanks for the add. I will be adding your link to our links section on our website.
It's great to learn that there are groups out there who are willing to share information with other groups. The problem I have encountered with some paranormal groups that there is so much fear from them of alleged "competition".
If you guys ever come to Maryland for an investigation, look us up. We work with other groups to co-investigate locations.
Stay safe, and stay true.
Sincerely,
Jim Jones

Thanks for the add. I have to say I'm very impressed with your group. Sharing your experience with other groups helps us all to grow. It's great to meet you.
I just wanted to let you know that PGR-IN is one of my personal favorite paranormal Investigation sites on the web. You exhibit some of the highest integrity I've ever seen in a group. I'm proud to be your friend and fellow Paranormal Investigating group.
