(every couple of issues a record comes along that remainds me of old Slaampt! records label out of the late 90's Scotland. and here's another one. strange howling combination of garage moderne and an almost shoe-gazerish dream-fuzz attack. disorienting and quite original without hitting you over the about how damm clever they are, which is a neat trick. it's six tracks of psych-punk done in a simple and thoroughly contemporary style, there's even a track that plays around with a dub sound without really going for it, it's like a radio playing in the next room. they also show a marked ability to set the phasers for stun and just rock in a SWELL MAPS kind-of-way. as an added plus, they are from spain, wich is not a country with much history in this vein. i want more life, fucker.)
