General
I love to write, especially anthopology-type articles. When I am in need of a creative boost, I write fiction pieces, unfortunately I can never finish them. I just got a new digital camera and am now obsessed with taking pictures, although my husband is much better at this particular medium. Music makes the world go round and I am always looking for new and interesting sounds. I am an avid reader and will read just about anything that has some intelligence to it, although I also like to read what I consider "brain candy," which is ususally in the form of fantasy paperback novels, although I do have high standards for these also, they don't require as much in terms of brain power, and I can read them during my breaks at work.I am intrigued by all forms of body modification from the most extreme implants, scarification (my own number 4 with more on the way), tattooing (fewer of those), body piercing (do we really have to count them..), and plastic surgery to makeup/ body painting, hair (both styles and removal of), body coverings (otherwise known as clothing or fashion), and the wearing of jewelry... I am always interested in sharing my own experiences and learning about other people's experiences and views on this topic. I will shortly begin posting some of the articles I have written on the new web page, along with some of my art/photography.

My collection contains pretty much every genre because I am always looking for something new and different that I can deal with, but in heavy rotation is NIN, Rob Zombie, MM, Tool, Murderdolls, Skinny Puppy, KMFDM, Queens of the Stone Age, Depeche Mode, Death From Above 1979, Orgy, Wednesday 13, Type-O-Negative, Mazzy Star, Zeromancer, Frank Zappa, Primus, and tons of Industrial compilations, because they tend to be the least offensive to my senses; also classical, especially Grieg and Bach...If you are interested in finding some great Industrial Music, then join this group:

There are always those classics: Labyrinth, The Dark Crystal & The Princess Bride. Horribly clich, I know, but I love vampire and werewolf movies, they entertain the shit out of me... what can you do. My favorite is Underworld, though... such an intriguing take on the mythologies... otherwise, I generally love movies based on comic books (Sin City!!!), and anything with Angelina Jolie, Tarantino, Johnny Depp, Tim Burton, Robert Rodriguez... too many others to really list, but I am sure you get the idea.Television

.. Anything about body modification, anthropology or human nature; everything written by Neil Gaiman, vampires (Chelsea Quinn Yarbro is way better than ms. Rice), werewolves, and my favorite Gothic entertainer: Voltaire...Changer le corps edited by S. Heuze, where my article was published. It is a french book composed of various articles on Body Modification from all over the world. ..

Wes Borland is a musician and artist, best known as the former guitarist in the band Limp Bizkit. Borland is well known for his Limp Bizkit years on stage with his eccentricity, frequently wearing elaborate face paint and black-tinted contact lenses and for his fondness of underground musical artists that differed greatly from the musical tastes of his band mates in Limp Bizkit stating the band was a destructive force in art.
Borland is currently the guitarist with Marilyn Manson and has his own project Black Light Burns. Black Light Burns features Borland this time on Vocals, Guitars, Bass, Keyboards and Programming, Danny Lohner from NIN on Guitar, Bass, Keys, Programming (and BLB's producer), Josh Eustis on Programming, Keys and Josh Freese on Drums.
Borland also handled album art during his stint in Limp Bizkit. Likewise, he has provided the album art for both of the Black Light Burns releases. His band, Black Light Burns, has two hit singles off their album "Cruel Melody" and is about to release their 2nd studio Album. Wes is currently touring with Marilyn Manson.
