Phalanx were originally formed in March 2005 under a different name and set of influences. Although being a relatively young metal act, Phalanx displays a high level of musicianship. This is evident in the bands well constructed original material as well as the covers chosen to perform. Intelligent riffs, high level musicianship, and thought-provoking lyrics are of the highest priority in Phalanx's music.
Phalanx's style is not confined to one genre of metal and, therefore, not easily defined. This is becuase the music is essentially a mixture of death, progressive and doom metal with 'world' music influences.
With such a diverse mixture of Metal, Phalanx is definitely not a monotonous listen. Expect to hear Roma dazzle you with his phenomenal arpeggio sweeping, Edwin’s impressive drum work locked in with the bass and rhythm guitar of Chris and Nicholas, aggressive vocals, and the intricate keyboard mastery of Rob. Metal fans take heart.

But we'll talk hey. Take care. Timmy-

Hyperkinetic furious thrashers Happy Camper put on another face melting show with their new Drummer ‘Spikenstein’ (Violent Green) and Bass player Kent Haines (Hollow/Minus Life). Joining them are Face Of Mutiny (ex-Candy Pain), playing straight up headbanging moshalicious riffs and 8 piece experimental death/noise/industrial terrorists The Sever Project. As always, DJ Hoops will be spinning metal tunes between bands, Satan’s Bar & Grill will be serving up devilishly good cheap meals from 8-10pm and entry is FREE.
