Every day can be Halloween. I will dress and make myself look however I want on any given day. At work I have to dress a certain way, but no one can tell me how to do my hair, and besides, my boss likes any personal style I bring along with me, but she's cool, she's a veggie also.
I wouldn't say I'm a big fan of Rocky Horror, just a casual fan of it maybe, because I liked it when I was younger. I'd say Italian zombie movies are my favorite cheesy movies... and Hard Rock Zombies.
It all started when I was like 8 or 9. I went to Applebee's with my mom, I ordered a cheeseburger, it came out pink and it grossed me out. I was grossed out again several time around the age of 15-16 by a huge burger. I tried to be a vegan for like a week when I was 16, didn't last. We had a dog named Thor that we had to get rid of, and I was forced to take him to the pound when I was 16-17 and when I saw the way he looked at me as I left, I knew there wasn't a big boundary between humans and animals, because I could read the expression on his face the same as I could a person. I started believing in animal rights soon after, but kept eating meat, being veggie off and on. November 2007 was the time I decided I was never going to eat meat again, and haven't looked back. Now, I don't eat anything with gelatin, and I'm just now boycotting Frito-Lay because of this pork enzyme stuff.
I like Boca, but I'm kind of sick of them. I love Morningstar buffalo wings. I love the ribs, corn dogs and mini corn dogs too.
Quorn makes great stuff like southwestern chicken nugget things.
Lightlife makes my all-time favorites... They make fake everything, fake ground sausage in a tube, fake pepperoni, fake bbq stuff, fake chili, lol, well, not fake, but meat-substituted. I loved biscuits and gravy growing up, and the fake ground sausage mixed with a (non-animal fat version of course) country gravy mix is delicious for a fake sausage gravy... I need to go to Hy-Vee to buy some again.
Yes, I read the Morningstar comment. I think they probably make some of the best vegetarian products available. I had fun with Phil and his friends, even though I don't drink, or eat meat like them, lol.
