| Influences |
I have had a variety of influences, even if just to show me who not to act like...I have the utmost respect and admiration for truly quirky, eccentric ne'r -do-wells who flipped the middle finger in the face of conventional wisdom and got away with what folks told them they couldn't do:
Lenny Bruce (RIP man, we love ya for what you did for us and what you put up with doing it), Hunter S. Thompson (There was always more you could've done, but thanks for that strange, scary trip. You helped give me perspective reading "Fear and Loathing in Los Vegas" in elementary school of all places), Oscar Wilde for being decadent and an elegant asshole, Robin Williams for surviving the drugs, even if he was funnier and stranger during that period, Eddie Izzard for being British and a transvestite, Tim Curry for being British and playing a transvestite, all the members of Monty Python for folks in Britain probably wishing they weren't British and occasionally dressing like transvestites. Siouxsie for being a right bitch, rather hot and making some great fucking music, Edgar Allen Poe for being charmingly morbid, Allan Freed and Morgan Block for creating my profession and "Rock and Roll", Mel Blanc for creating that sarcastic bastard rabbit that kept me mesmerized for hours on end, JR Ewing for creating the art of being a right bastard and people loving it. Optimus Prime for being so damn noble, GG Allin for not, Henry Rollins for telling it like it is, Charles Bukowski for not (though maybe sometimes he did in a rather twisted way), Bruce Campbell, Doctor Demento, Bela Lugosi, Larry Lujack (WLS Chicago with Li'l Tommy Circa 1980), Gen from Genitorturers, Lon Chaney, John Belushi, Steve Martin (Back when he still did stand-up and was just silly), Rod Serling, Vincent Price (Elegant, funny, a consummate professional, bon-vivant, gourmet, Renaissance man with one of the most awesome, mac-daddy voices ever), Graf Orlok, Terry Pratchet, Alfred Hitchcock, Friedrich Nietzsche for being deep, twisted and German and the list is still evolving as I start realizing just where all these scattered parts of my persona actually came from in the first place...

Thanks to Shannon for access to the bands.
What do we sound like...? Hmmm, hard to "tag" or itemize. And really , why should we? You change your clothes everyday (Hopefully), we change the music here and there. For starts and kicks, we play "The Music of the Night" or the Nocturnal A.D.D.. Think alomg the lines of Rozz Williams playing Scrabble with Al Bundy imitating Ted Bundy while watching Jenna Jameson play hot oil Twister with Linnea Quigly who had a thing for Vampira but ended up with Elvira, meantime GG Allin has stolen David Hasslehoff's wallet while he was trying to pay for a drink for Bela Lugosi who wished he could've made it to be cast in a Hammer flick...
Head hut yet? Let's just say we "channel" a variety of punk, alternative (80's and newer), Gothic, Industrial, Steampunk, Electro, spoken word clips, cartoon theme music, occasional musings in German (A language I am fascinated, if not very good in) & random observations on Life, Luv and Liquid-Drano induced Lemmings. A Sampling if what we have and will play:
