THE FLY MAGAZINES UNSIGNED BAND TO WATCH FOR 2009!!!
We are a four-peice rock band with elements of funk and blues from Tring, Hertfordshire. We've been together for around two years, working up a repertoire of original material, gigging in our local London and South east area, striving to push ourselves forward and make a name for ourselves. We hope to see you in the future at one of our gigs.
When starting out gigging-wise we felt best to start local and then as we gained some experience, we would venture further a feild. From our humble beginning in the small town of Tring, Hertfordshire, we gigged at Pendley Court Theatre several times, winning a battle of the bands to claim the prize of free recording sessions.
From there onwards we have graced the stage at many local places in St. Albans, Watford and Hemel Hempstead, such as "The Horn" in St. Albans (named UK music pub of the year) and the newly opened Function Rooms in Hemel Hempstead. We have also regulary travelled into London, and have played some awesome venues such as The Hope & Anchor, Dublin Castle, Tommy Flynn's, The Good Ship, Dirty South, The Worlds End, Death Disco and bigger places such as New Bucks University (With The Twang), Loughbourough Uni (With The Holloways), Carling Bar Academy and Carling Academy main stage in front of around 800 people plus many more cool venues......
Not only have we played at amazing places, but have supported some awesome up-and-coming and Signed bands, such as The Twang at New Bucks Uni Students union (sold out), The Holloways at Loughborough Uni Student Union, The Thirst at The Horn, Sketches, and The Alones.
