PHARHEED is the voice behind the hit track; "AM A SOLDIER" and this is the summary of his BIOGRAPGHY.... At that time, His country was undergoing a political reconstruction, and his father was among the top good politicians his state could afford. On the 4th month of the year, about the same time Catholics celebrate the resurrection of Jesus, early in the morning, on the sixth day of that month, Pharheed came to earth , and his mission ; to bring too many, the Phar-heeding secrets of joy. His father, Hon. Professor Eze, a former school headmaster in Nigeria, migrated to the United States in 1959 to study political science, after his studies, became a professor, and later returned back to his country Nigeria, to expand his political tentacles, and his mother, a devoted catholic mother and a former high school principal. Pharheed is a dance hall rapper from birth and came from a family of two boys and four girls, with him being the last born son, was loved and spoilt by every member of the family. Much unlike many bright stars the world know, he was born with a silver spoon, from bedding to bathing, his parents could afford more than his needs and wants. His love for music could be traced back to his 7th birthday, when one of his family friends gave him a toy drum, little Pharheed loved that drum so much, play with it all day, and finally broke it, the same day. As a teenager, he has always been seen listening to music and learning the new dance step with the help of his most senior sister Ngozi, who was in college at that time. Then at 14, he wrote his first song, YOUR LOVE IS DRIVING ME CRAZY, which he always entertains his family and friends with. While in high school, he composed many songs, and always tries to show them off to his classmates, but always end up getting in trouble for “disturbing the class”. In 1999, he joined a rap group called squiz, but the group broke up before their album project was finished in 2000. Later, he put his music on hold and joined the u.s army, which was among his childhood dreams. PHARHEED has been to many countries, including Japan, Italy, Spain, Singapore, Egypt, Kuwait, Dubai, Qatar, Holland, Germany, and Ireland, and is a veteran of operation Iraqi freedom. After his return from the Iraqi war in 2007, he decided to hit the studio again, in order to accomplish his music dream, he has got Nigerian reggae legends like Ras kimono and Majek fashek in some of his songs that will be included in his debut album titled B4 THA MIC due to be released in December 2010.
