With writing, you know it isn't too bad when the words come to you, instead of you searching for them. I write to discover, to research, and to inform others.And what I compose is driven to make others more aware of particular topics without boring them. In college, professors told me often that I should write, yet I did not do so at this level until this year. Lesson: never disregard recommendations. Hence, I listen now to others more now than ever.

Matrix, Terminator, and Dead Poets Society along with 12 Angry Men. In that order.

Simpsons. best writing on television. No other fractures social boundaries like this crew.
Books
The Merck Manual, and trivia books. Also books of inspiration. A law dictionary, as it sort of is a form of insurance. Reading is also done by me in the same manner online more frequently. Reading helps me become a better writer.
Heroes
Hero is a Greek word, and literally means one who is a demigod, which is a hybrid of a mortal and a deity. By definition, anyone who has displayed courage if not self-sacrifice to protect and defend others is a hero. Rather than name my own, I offer this explanatioh for those who may not know of any heros.
About me: I've been in the medical and health field vocations for a very long time. After being a medic in the Marine Corps, which was followed by being a physician assistant for many years, I became a pharmaceutical executive for a decade. Since I did not like the direction this industry was going, I left and am now a medical writer, author, health care journalist, as well as a patient and health care advocate with several organizations. Medicine is my passion, and always has been since I was a child.
Yet most importantly, I have a beautiful 10 year old daughter who fortunately resembles her mother, yet I've been told has my wit, intelligence and personality. I seem to embarass her often in front of her friends.
Who I'd like to meet: Anyone who has sacrificed themselves to benefit others in any way, regardless of the results of these sacrifices. And those who would like to talk and listen, regardless of what they may want to say or hear. Those would be others who determine that my objective is to know them and not manipulate them or irritate them, I welcome you and our dialogues we will have, possibly.
