Hailing from Los Angeles, California, Phathom-Matthew Sikora (Vocals, Guitar), Jason Stone (Guitar, Vocals), Yannick d’Assignies (Bass, Vocals) and Anton Tilgren (Drums) have been rocking the Los Angeles music scene since 2001. Since the band’s formation and in the spirit of DIY Phathom has remained independent of any record label aid and currently resides with Hardline Entertainment under the management of Ken Seaton.
Independently, Phathom has toured the US extensively with the Vans Warped Tour ‘06 being invited back by Warped Tour promoter Kevin Lyman through Warped ’08 and looking forward to a stint of dates on the ’09 trek. They have performed with Avenged Sevenfold, Strung Out, Unwritten Law, No Use For A Name and also had local radio success with their single “Moving Slowly” on KROQ's Locals Only in Los Angeles.
Phathom to date has self released 4 EP’s and 2 full lengths (“Phathom” and “Zombie Love”) under Hardline Entertainment. Currently the band is recording new material for a massive online campaign where the band will give away 2 new songs each month as free downloads. The first 2 songs, scheduled for a June release, produced by Charlie Paulson of Goldfinger/Black President and co-produced and recorded by Mike Sutherland (Pennywise, Slightly Stoopid, Pepper, Heaven and Hell as well as Phathom’s “Zombie Love”). The online campaign will have the support of Rockstar Energy Drink’s site www.RockStar69.com and www.Gibson.com who will also be posting the songs for free download.
In support of the release the band will be playing extensively around the West Coast giving away limited CD versions of the new material, as well as allowing mailing list members access to the songs 1 week before the general public. Fans of the band will be encouraged to bring memory sticks to the shows where band members will upload songs from any release at the fans request.

I meet you guys when you were play the entrance Rockstar stage/tent while walking into warped tour pamona a few years ago. It means alot to see a local band do something big.
