Phat Man & Little Boy met in 1980 playing together for the first time in The Jacks. The Jacks played over 12 years touring the Midwest and opening twice for The Romantics, Greg Kihn Band, Ruby Starr, Black Oak Arkansas, Head East, Edgar Winter Band, Kansas, and believe it or not Porter Wagner. In 1986 The Jacks were chosen the 1 Rock Band by The People’s Choice Awards in Omaha. Tommy (Phat Man) was soon on the front cover under the byline, Would you buy a used car from this man? After The Jacks broke up, Tommy joined On the Fritz, a local Omaha band, and Bobby (Little Boy) started his own solo show. Bobby’s travels took him all over the Midwest and eventually to Dallas where he enjoyed a very successful solo career. Bobby played with and opened up for several National Acts including Keith Urban, Martina McBride, Dirks Bentley, Tracy Byrd, and Mark Wills. Bobby came back to Nebraska and contacted Tommy for something different and new in Omaha. They decided to do what they do best…Play, Sing, Entertain and laugh. Play music from all decades with humor tossed in the mix…hmmm what a concept. Artists covered range from John Cougar Mellencamp, Springsteen, Keith Urban, Toby Keith, Beatles, Stones, Incubus, Nickelback, Weezer, U2, Elton John, Billy Joel, Queen, and more bands than we have room to type. All in all around a 650 song repertoire mixed in with a huge dose of humor and crowd participation. You won't be disappointed.
