Hockey. Music. Being funny. Math. Drinking. Driving. (not together) Eating cereal (without milk, and at all times of the day). Watching sports. The Avalanche. The Seahawks. The Mariners. The Sonics. University of Washington sports. Chocolate-covered marshmallow. Being a smartass. Lime as a condiment. People-watching. The smell after a rainstorm. Photography. Bacon. I'm a big history buff. Watching Kirk McLean play goal:
....
Lots. Here's a few: Miracle. Office Space. Thunderball. Airplane. Best in Show. This is Spinal Tap. Happy Gilmore. A Mighty Wind. Back to the Future. The Wedding Singer. Monty Python movies. Slapshot. Fletch. James Bond movies. That Thing You Do!
Also, for some reason I really enjoy really bad movies.
Television
I'm never home, but I like to watch television when I get some time to unwind. Current shows I like (other than sports) are Arrested Development, The Daily Show, Curb Your Enthusiasm and The Office. I'll watch Family Guy and David Letterman whenever I can, and I love improv comedy (Whose Line is it Anyway?, et cetera)
Good shows on DVD are Newsradio, Seinfeld, Sports Night, Sliders, M*A*S*H, and Monty Python's Flying Circus. I'll watch just about anything on "Nick at Nite". My favourite game shows were The Match Game and The Price Is Right. Best show not on DVD: Almost Live. Best show ever.
Why isn't "Tiny House" a real TV show? "I JUST WANT TO MAKE AN OMELET!"
This is why you shouldn't yell:
Books
My favourites are 1984 and Lord of the Flies. I'll read anything by Bill Watterson, Darby Conley, Gary Larson, Berke Breathed, Frank Cho, or Jim Toomey (they write comic strips, but I'm not going to tell you that because you'll think I'm a moran).
Heroes
I'm a hero. But I also like James K. Polk, Martin Luther King Jr., Bono, Johnny Cash, Lech Walesa, Cosmo Kramer, Jim Henson, Herbert Kornfeld, Leonardo da Vinci, Charles Nelson Reilly.
Also, whomever managed to get these three great television icons together for a photograph:
Can you imagine the stories this person has to tell?!

About me: I'm more sarcastic than you are, and everything on here is a lie. I like to tell jokes that no one understands, and I like to make obscure references just to entertain myself. My dry sense of humour is my greatest strength, and my greatest weakness. If you visit my personal website, you'll quickly figure out that I'm not this guy.
I've been told that women cannot resist my Ph.D. in mathematics, and I'm working as an associate actuary in the great city of Denver, which doesn't hurt, either. I think any actuary will tell you that the best part about the job is the endless studying for exams, but that's obvious. Of course, I do get to work with models all day long.
If I had four awards to give, I would give them all to the Golden Girls. Shoes make the man, but it takes men and women working together to make a pair of shoes. Five minutes with Walter Matthau is like ten years at an Ivy League school. Has it only been twenty years since President Roosevelt was shot? Who is that Encyclopedia Brittanica kid? If you feel like you're going nowhere in your career, may I recommend Harvard?
Most of my free time somehow involves the great sport of hockey. While in graduate school, I played goal for the University of Colorado men's team, but now I will play for just about anyone who asks me (the fact that I'd never even ice skated until I was nearly twenty-two doesn't seem to bother anyone). I also spent some time coaching with the men's and women's teams there, but now I watch more than I coach.
I spend a decent amount of time researching the history of the sport, mainly at my site, the Hockey Goaltender Home Page. If you want an idea of how much time I spent not studying in college, you should go there.
My other main love is music - playing it and listening to it. I play the piano/synthesizer and sing, and was in a band ("Macho Business Donkey Wrestlers") where we compensated for being very bad by being very loud.
My best friend Yuki lives in Port Orchard with my parents - he's a fourteen-year-old Siberian Husky. Anyhow, I like to hike, and I like to cook. I like to type the number "8". And I like to screw around on the Internet (duh).
I'm on the Facebook a lot more than on here these days - so look for me there!
I have CDO, which is just like Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder except that the acronym is arranged alphabetically as it should be.
IMPORTANT! Help warn the world about the dangers of Dihydrogen Monoxide. This common element has been found in most cancerous tumors, and the FDA has done nothing to prevent its usage.
SHAMELESS COMMERCE DEPARTMENT: If you ever purchase anything from Amazon.com, PLEASE BOOKMARK THIS LINK... I get 5% of the purchase price (or more!), and it doesn't cost you anything. Tell your friends. Mahalo!
Who I'd like to meet: You. Actually, it feels like we've already met. Remember the time that we went to different elementary schools together?
People who go to the trouble of making sure that their myspace pages are actually legible.
People who like my blog ramblings enough to subscribe. Tell your friends!
And Bruce McCulloch, Dave Foley, Kevin MacDonald, Scott Thompson, and Mark McKinney:
....
I'd also like to meet Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, just because they're such a cute couple.
One last thing - I'm not here to "collect friends". If I have absolutely no idea who you are, then I'm not going to accept your "friend request". IF I DO NOT KNOW YOU, THEN I WILL NOT ADD YOU. DO NOT ADD ME IN ORDER TO GET ME TO VISIT YOUR PAGE. DO NOT ADD ME BECAUSE YOU WANT ME TO ADVERTISE FOR YOU. Specifically, if the amateur porn stars could leave me alone, that'd be fantastic. Thanks! I'm sorry if I've offended you with this. Actually, I'm not sorry because I've never shown remorse in my life. I feel bad about that.
I need an assistant coach. Do you have anyone in mind that will move to Oregon for what amounts to pennies a day in earnings. But they get to work with me!
How's it going?? I hope things are well. That's a great pic on your profile. So, any major surprises for you yet during the hockey off season??? What do you think about the Colorado goalie situation since picking up Raycroft? I think Budaj should get the chance now to be the starter. You agree? Take care and keep in touch!!!!
Ha how bad was it? Believe me I wanted to play. If the cut was anywhere other than the hand, I would have. Im was just scared of splitting it back open. I didnt hear one person say it'd be ok to play.
Ha ha, he must of kicked you off becuase I got the email! I wish I could play, still not quite healthy yet. I just got the stitches out yesterday. Good luck eh
What brand of diapers does Forsberg use? Pampers or Depends? Did he finally start wearing waterproof mascara to keep it from running when he cries? Waaaaah Waaaah!
