Phearnone is an artist of many talents. Viola, and West African Percussion are his main focus as an instrumentalist. This model/teacher/musician/actor has performed in many venues since the age of 12. Lincoln center, Black August, Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center, Apollo, The Brooklyn Street Festival, Aaron Davis Hall, and many clubs such as Village Underground, Knitting Factory, The Supper Club, BB Kings, Joe's Pub and Sobs just to name a few.
You can catch him performing with many different types of bands and artist. However, the one you might see him with the most is Planet Ubiquity, a Live Hip Hop group that has performed throughout NYC and the East Coast. Planet Ubiquity consists of five phenomenal musicians: Shani Kulture (MC), Shaun Kelly (drummer/MC), Shelton Gardner (Guitar/vocals), Lenny Johnson (bass) and Phearnone (violin/MC/percussion). Phearnone calls himself Phearnone because he fears none other than GOD.

Shayshahn "Phearnone" MacPherson first love is music. He has played in a variety of venues ranging from hip-hop to jazz, classical and alternative music. Phearnone is a native New Yorker. Born in Manhattan and raised in Da Bronx, where he now teaches violin, dance, and aerobics when he is not performing. Shayshahn also plays the Djembe, and Dun-duns (West African drums) for many dance companies like Harlem School of the Arts, and Jewels of the Nile. He performs and is an Adjunct Lecturer at Bronx Community college and Adelphi University. Known as "Mr.Mac" to many undergrad, high school and junior high school students Shayshahn almost seems ubiquitous when you add all of the events, clubs, videos, and commercials that Shayshahn is a part of throughout and outside the city. Phearnone is pioneering performing spoken word while simultaneously playing the five-string violin. And is winning many poetry slams doing it. If that wasn't enough Phearnone is in many theater productions in New York. One company that he often performs with nationally as well as internationally with is the "Classical Theater of Harlem".
Phearnone has worked with many talented people some include Producer Khari needles, singer Bobby Valentino, actor Andre Desheilds, actor Earle Hyman, actor Ty Jones, Singer Angie Stone, Director Alfred Preisser, Singer Eryka Badu, Spoken word artist "Mums" and drummer Max Roach to name a few. Phearnone can also be seen in music video's like Rah Digga's "party and bullsh**" video, and is the voice in the Zingy ringtone commercials
