This is some new-fangled contraption I picked up. Let's see if it works. Just call the number (FREE) and record a voice message to me. Aw, come on. Give it a try. It'll let you re-record until you like what you've said.
(Now, be kind in your message. I know how you can get.)
Oh, yes, my interests. Art, Art collecting, Andy Warhol, Basquiat, Schiele, Furniture Design, Fashion, Music Industry, Marketing, Advertising, Business, Coffee
Music
most everything, Bowie to Rachmaninov, Bluegrass to Punk. I particularly enjoy the work of my my musician friends (here in Denver and elsewhere) like, Matt Larrabee, Heather Larrabee, Reckless Red, Dualistics, Lannie Garrett, Gina Koch, D. O. The Fabulous Drifter, Tempa and the Tantrums, Garrett Carlin, Vegas Witchcraft, Bridget Law, The Reals, Penelope Project, Fallout Orphan, King Rat, Rick Sullivan, Tyler Gilmore and the 9th Avenue Orchestra, Future Jazz Project, Lovechild, Zebra Junction, Elvis Costello, Peter Murphy, Judith Avers, Born in the Flood, Joshua Novak, Gann Matthews, King Rat, Brad Rhoda, Harry Tuft, John Davis and the many others I have enjoyed working with or just listening to.
If you see any of these names on a bill, you'll be under good, sound advice to have a long listen!
I design the posters people actually read. I currently hold the strange (and expensive) record of designing the most frequently stolen posters in Denver.
Movies
Harvey, Things to do in Denver When You're Dead, Pollock, Basquiat, Shine, Somewhere in Time, SLC Punk, Hard Core Logo, Superstar in a Housedress, Women in Revolt, Chelsea Girls, Freaks, I like everything, really.
Television
I don't watch much television at all. I think when The Muppet Show, Mork and Mindy, and That's Incredible left my TV, so did I.
I am still fascinated by reality television programs and while Mtv is credited with its creation and Fox uses it as 85% of its programming, the concept can be traced back to... who else?...
The quote here was Andy Warhol in a September 1969 interview.
"Next summer [1970], well get five or six people living together for a couple of weeks out in the country, and just shoot everything that happens between them as they get complicated with one another"
My friends Penn & Teller have a great show on HBO called Bullshit. I love it. Although, Penn sends me messages like,

Due out on June 1, 2008, my work is in the "How-to" section of "STENCIL NATION".
Hunter S. Thompson, Robert Fulghum, nonfiction.
"The Edge . . . there is no honest way to explain it because the only people who really know where it is are the ones who have gone over. The others - the living - are those who pushed their control as far as they felt they could handle it. and then pulled back, or slowed down, or did whatever they had to when it came time to choose between Now and Later."

About me: Professor Phelyx is the purveyor of powerful, pleasurable, and peculiar presentations of prestidigitation, a performer of perfect predictions. He is the master of miniature miracles.
"Cram good, old Vaudevillian charm and wit, a circus sideshow, and the ability to perform UNBELIEVABLE feats of magic, into one man... that's Phelyx"
Recently voted "Best Street Magician"! I am a performer (Magician, Illusionist, Mentalist, or other euphemisms invented to describe that I perform magical effects that turn adults into children). Growing up, I was known as the kid most likely to have a shrunken head in his pocket. The growing up part is still in very slow progress. I live Gonzo (a la the great Dr. Hunter S. Thompson) and have been crowned, the official Gonzo Magician. I will always be found to favor the unusual and uncharted over the mundane and commonplace. I have had intimate experience with things most folks wouldn't dream of. I haven't even started, yet.
I am celebrating my 27th year as a mentalist magician.

The Thursday show is a RIOT, and while I am a small part of that show, I would go, even if I weren't in it! Hands down the most enjoyable live show in the west. I guarantee it!
