| General | The Falcons are currently preparing for the up and coming 2007 football season. The Falcons are having voluntary workouts open to anyone interested over the age of 18. Workouts are held daily at 12:00 noon during weekdays, and 11:00 a.m. on Saturdays. All preseason workouts are held at Medowlane Field in South Phenix City. Once again workouts are voluntary right now and open to the public. Regular Season practices will begin in Mid-May. Well, let's see my name is Carlton Spivey. Three years ago I was blessed with a precious opportunity. As I signed on to become the offense cordinator of a Semi-Professional Football Team. Through the mis-fortune of one person, and the blessing of God. I was presented with a chance, and a dream. At first, I can't lie I was scared to death, because it was out of my field and I felt under qualified. As, I prayed about my decision, and let God order my steps. He reminded me of something I learned at a tender age Phillipians 4:13 says "I can do all thing through Christ who strengtheneth me." So on faith and confidence I accepted the role of Head Coach and Owner of the Phenix City Falcons. In my first year the team went 9-3; and I was voted SOUTHERN FOOTBALL LEAGUE COACH OF THE YEAR.
