Sounds Like
Mix of everything I've ever listened to including train announcements in France.
Written and Produced by Meritxell in summer 2008, and now with a pumping new mix by Martin Rushent. Here's what the nation's favourite music critic said when he first heard the song:
"Totally amazing!" Peter Robinson, Editor, Popjustice.com
Check out this, our sexy new video for Pop Music:
Phenol’s glittering career is only just beginning. A limited run CD-single Karoline resulted in a booking at Alan McGee’s Death Disco, before they’d ever played live.
Fronted by Meritxell Lavanchy, Phenol's live shows feature Sean Bright on guitar, a new Mac and a keyboard bought on ebay – which is sometimes plugged in and sometimes isn’t. While inventing a premise for the band is part of a wider creative experiment, Meritxell’s focus is on writing arresting, danceable songs.
The band’s influences are wide… from seventies pop, eighties indie, and nineties dance to classical and nu-electro, there’s a lot to be heard in Phenol’s indie-tronica mash-up. And if you don’t like dancing, that’s fine. The next tune might just be a slow, gothic, slit-your-wrists number..

I am STARVING and I didn't plan on cooking because my dad gave us a gift certificate to go to Ruby Tuesday and we had plans to go. I tried to wake him up over an hour ago and he's still laying there. I'm moving on from annoyed to pissed off! anywayz, it went good. We got stuff for our wii.
