Phenomenon is a Romanian children Rock Band formed by:
Andrei- Guitar, Mario- Keyboards, Florian- Bass, Iulian- drums .
On 1 June 2007 guitarist Andrei Balasa when he met Iulian, Florian and Mario Nicolau and invited them to his place.
The next day Iulian, Florian and Mario Nicolau came home to Andrei and jammed together. They decided to form a band. After that they named themselves Phenomenon, Andrei invited Alex "Asy" Mitroi, his friend, as vocalist. i).
Asy left the band for personal reasons, and with the help of Narcisa Suciu, Andrei spotted Catalin Tamazlicaru, fresh vocalist who doesn't need a mike to make himself heard;).
Andrei called him and he accepted to come to the audition, he got the job.
They sang on the same stage with bands as: Phoenix, Iris, Compact, Tm Stevens, Adi Manolovici, Quartz, Highlight Kenosis, RUST, Cyfer’s sin, Bucovina, Asheana, Ura de dupa Usa, Old news, Blind Spirits, Himere, Doorway, Alex Tomaselli Blues Band, Voodoo, Glissando, Kinethics etc. They also sang at televisions as:Protv (Happy Hour), National tv (Razvan & Dani), Tvr1 (Taverna, Autostada Tvr)...
In October 27 they win Global Battle of the Bands Romania getting the oportunity to represent Romania at Global Battle of the Bands in London, the best contest in Europe
