Hello everyone. We regret to inform you that as of October 6th, 2009, PHFAT RASKALS is calling it quits. In it's final line-up incarnation (which was for a year and a half through performances, always changing), decided it was time to move on to greener pastures. Charlie and Owen started a new project called SNOUT SNOUT SNOUT featuring Jonathan (from Banzai and Fiasco) and Max Coburn (Banzai). Louis still plays with Runtime Error now, and Julian is in a trillion bands, so he ain't so torn up, but whutevers.
But we mustn't forget that the Phfat Raskals original roots, before being a band, was a joke solo project conceived by Owen, and recorded some initial Raskals' tracks out of his bedroom in 2007, before his voice even cracked. Owen's hilarious and embarrassing solo demo under the name PHFAT RASKALS with the album title HAPPY GO LUCKY MUSIC FOR SPECIAL PEOPLE OF THE WESTERN WORLD, is now available for a FREE DOWNLOAD for the first time ever:

We had a really long and fun run with so many crazy shows, with so many of our favorite local bands, and even got to play with some of musical mentors (JUGGERNUT, BJ Snowden, etc.), and even got snuck on a bill to play the incredibly prestigious (??) 2009 Sounds Like Brooklyn Festival, BAM's annual showcase of the "best bands"(???).
