About me:
PHILCON is Philadelphia's annual conference of science fiction, fantasy, and horror. We are the longest running event of our kind in the world! (The first Philcon was held in 1936!)
Our 2007 Philcon will be held Nov. 16th thru 18th at the Sheraton Center City Philadelphia Hotel (formerly the Wyndham Franklin Plaza). For more information, VISIT OUR WEBSITE!
Our Principal Speaker for 2007 will be ERIC FLINT! Our Artist Guest Of Honor will be SUE DAWE! We will also feature Special Costuming Guests Kevin Roche and Andrew Trembley! And our Musical Guest this year will be singer, songwriter, comic artist, and media personality VOLTAIRE! We will also have many other writers, artists, editors, filmmakers, and numerous other professionals and talented amateurs from the fields of science fiction, fantasy, and horror.
Besides our comprehensive program schedule, PHILCON also has other great things to offer, such as our VENDOR'S ROOM, ART SHOW AND AUCTION, a GAMING ROOM, a full FILM AND ANIME SCHEDULE, and our HALL COSTUME CONTEST AND MASQUERADE COMPETITION!
