Phildel is the artist's real name - it's a compound name - made up of her two parents' names: Philip and Della. Her father is Chinese and her mother is Irish. You can read her full Dickensian biography at her Last.FM page.

Phildel's music is truly unique. Magical, enchanting, powerful and epic, her sound is the direct result of her imagination's escape from a repressive, neglectful and silent upbringing, it spins webs of alluring fantasy and haunting melody.
