Fairport Convention, Lightnin' Hopkins...it could go on and on.
Sounds Like
The Doors trying to sing Lefty Frizzell songs?? The Animals singing calypso?? Maybe a darker, landlocked, gothic Jimmy Buffett?? No, that fails to describe us.
First formed at the close of the Paleolithic era, the earliest form of the band was
called "King's X" (kings being a brand-new concept then), not to be confused with the well-known trio which we predated by at least a dozen millennia. Like the
Count de St. Germain (who was actually our manager for a brief time in the 18th
century A.D.), we, going by many names including "The Heard", "The Foetal Pig", "Joe Domino Polar", "The Anomolous Hominids", and others, have survived and grown down the centuries, but lost touch with each other during the chaos of the American Civil War. We recently got together again in the summer of 2007 to record some of Phil's songs. Who knows where we'll go from here?
Ever wondered what to do in the event of a nuclear threat?
A while ago I found stuff that inspired me to make this film:
Living Under the Shadow of the Nuclear Umbrella
Both artistic (ensure you get the background music!) and educational, it primarily comprises official British government civil defence advice.
Though source materials are quite aged, much remains relevant today.

Dad, you're amazing. I know I don't call you enough like I call mom. Every time I hang up with her I think of how I wish I had talked to you a little. I think about you a lot, especially in my Foundations of Arithmetic class but often in my other classes too.
Oh come on Mr. Freeman, the first blog was a delight, why hide the one I didn't get to read on time before you realized how to set the blog to private :)
Hey Mr. Freeman, I saw that you were online so I'd thought I'd say Hi. You really need to put up a picture. Have Caitlin or Charles show ya how. Do you miss Caitlin yet? I sure do ^_^ Well, have fun, and I can't wait to hear the music you are going to put up on here!
