In his 17-year career as DJ and producer, Phil Fuldner has made himself a name as an international house act. With his fascinating and innovative DJ sets, he has gained a special reputation among clubbers and DJ colleagues.

The style of his DJ sessions, which frequently take several hours, covers all kinds of house music, progressive techhouse up to funk, hip hop or rare eightie sounds. More often than not, his DJ sets are topped by spontaneous live vocals by the fully trained singer Phil Fuldner!

Its his all-round talent that makes him a much sought-after artist at special events such as the MTV Fashion Awards, Formula 1 Party for Becks in Monaco, numerous aftershow parties (MTV, Viva, etc.).

Nor is he a stranger in front of the camera, first as a model for Levis, Caterpillar etc. and later as a presenter of programmes such as MTV-Select and MTV-Alarm.

Above all, however, Phil Fuldner sees himself as a house or club DJ (The atmosphere in a really good club can hardly be compared to anything else...). Hes followed this through with appearances at countless international discotheques (Space / Amnesia / Pacha / el Divino, Ibiza / Stars & Bars, Monaco / Kaufleuten, Zurich / Eden, Bangkok / Sage Club, Berlin / Flamingo, Essen ...) and raves (Love Parade / Nature One / Time Warp / Energy Street Parade, Zurich / Electric Workshop, Johannesburg / WMC, Miami ...).

This passion and belief in music brought Phil Fuldner together with Moguai back in 1995. Their first success was the real breakthrough of the producer team Fuldner & Moguai: In 1998, they landed their first Top Ten hit with Phil Fuldners The Final The Captain Future Theme (Single Charts No. 7!). Further productions (for Virgin / Ministry of Sound / Kosmo / Eastwest / Positiva / Additive, among others) strengthened the duos international reputation. Initially intended as club tracks, the releases under Dial M for Moguai (e.g. Beatbox) entered the singles charts Top 40 or became club classics (Bang the Drum / Phil Fuldner Works You cant fight what you feel.

Fuldner & Moguai quickly became much sought-after remixers of acts and artists such as Santos Timo Maas (Orinoko-Island) Luzon (Yoshi Toshie) Harry Choo Choo Romero (Bambossa / Subliminal) Artfull Doger / Melanie Blatt (All Saints) BBE Cosmic Baby Giorgio Moroder / Freddy Mercury, etc.

Pete Tong (Radio One, UK) chose Moguais remix of Timo Maas production Island as Essential Tune of the Month. Particularly in England, productions by Fuldner & Moguai can be found on all major compilations (e.g. The Annual / Headliners / World Famous DJs / Clubbers Guide to Ibiza ...).

The PUNX label is the most recent baby of the multi talented team. With its first release Moguai pres. PUNX The Rock, the PUNX label set a milestone for innovative sounds. Even prior to the vinyl record being released, The Rock, including mixes by Corvin Dalek and Jan Driver, was licensed on to Eastwest Records. The second release u Know Y (with a Si Begg remix) sold over 10000 copies in Germany alone, making it club hit of the year. Licensed to Hope Recordings in the UK, the track took just 3 weeks to reach the number one spot in the prestigious Cool Cuts chart.

Since May 2001, Phil Fuldners latest release Phil Fuldner Works 2 Miami Pop, a mixture of house and miami bass elements, has been a great success in international clubs and has already entered the TOP 40 of the German Media Control Charts.

Hot on the heels of the PUNX label success story comes POLO REC., Phils own progressive house label. Release Nr.1: .. Blagger..s World - ..1.. was released in April 2002 with remixes by Ian Pooley, Vincenzo, Gianni Bini and Phil Fuldner himself.

Like its elder brother PUNX, POLO REC. was conceived as a platform for artists and tracks which go beyond the conventional and ordinary.

Phil Fuldners last single ..Phil Fuldner Works 2 - Miami Pop.., a mixture ofs House and Miami Bass sounds, hit the international club scene from May 2001 onwards, as well as bursting into the Top 30 singles charts in Germany.

The GDA (German Dance Award) crew liked ..Miami Pop so much, they invited Phil to perform at the GDA Gala (along with Matthias Schaffhäuser, Kosheen, Tok Tok vs. Sophie O), sharing the vocal and rap duties with ..Loco Dice.

Since November 2002, Phil has become part of the Eins Live Radio family, presenting a monthly ..Eins Live Clubbing.. session on a Friday night. Guests to date include: Turntablerocker, Tiefschwarz, Joni Rewind

The Moguai single, ..U know Y, co-written & produced by Phil, was the biggest track at Mayday 2002. Over 10,000 copies were sold on vinyl, earning Moguai & Phil the Discomania Sales Award 2002. U Know Y spent 7 weeks at the top of the DDC charts and was licensed to Kosmo (Germany) and Hope Recordings (UK, USA).

In Germany it was the best selling vinyl dance track of the year, reaching .. 35 in the charts.

For the past three years, Fuldner and Moguais music production has gone under the name M.S.I., mad support international. The name suits their musical vision, launching the sound of their Ruhr area into the world outside.

Phil is a fully trained singer, hence it is his voice you can hear on his new single(he wrote the lyrics too), breaking down the barrier between club and pop music, as ..Miami Pop.. did a couple of years ago. Moguai has similarly managed to combine club culture and mass appeal with tracks like ..U know Y.. and ..get:on... Productions for the Sugababes (as Moguai) and Vanessa (as Fuldner) show how comfortable they are in treading the line between both worlds. More than a few international labels and artists have recognized Phil and Moguais talent in this respect, leading to remix and production work for international club / pop projects.

Der Style seiner oft mehrstündigen DJ Sessions reicht von allen Variationen der Housemusic über Progressive, Techhouse, bis hin zu Funk, Hip Hop oder raren 80s Sounds. Nicht selten werden diese DJ-Sets von spontanen live-Vocals des ausgebildeten Sängers Phil Fuldner gekrönt. Phil Fuldners FolgeSingle Phil Fuldner Works 2 - Miami Pop eine Mischung aus House und Miami Bass Elementen, ging im Mai 2001 auf Siegeszug durch die internationale Clubszene, und schob sich, trotz ihres ausgefallenen Styles bis in die Top 15 der deutschen Media Control Charts vor. Miami Pop überzeugte auch die Macher des GDA (German Dance Award) und so wurde Phil eingeladen, den Eröffnungs-Liveact der GDA-Gala zu stellen: Als Backing Band konnte die Live-Combo der Fanta 4 / DSDS rekrutiert werden, und Phil teilte sich die Vocal/Rap Parts mit Loco Dice. Ergebnis war eine grandiose Live performance, die den Weg für alle folgende ebnen sollte. (Matthias Schaffhäuser, Kosheen, Tok Tok vs. Sophie O., etc. ).

In den Jahren 2001-2002 wurde Phil Mitglied der Eins Live Radio Familie: Nach dem klassischen Eins Live Clubbing Format, übertrug Phil jeden letzten Freitag im Monat live aus den angesagtesten Clubs des Sektors, mit Gästen wie den Turntablerockern, Tiefschwarz, Jonni Rewind (DJ von Sammy Deluxe), oder Coolman (5 Sterne Deluxe),

Die Single von Phil´s Partner Moguai, U know Y , war die meistgespielteste Platte der Mayday im Mai 2002. Mit insgesamt über 10.000 verkauften Schallplatten, gewann sie den Discomania Platinum Sales Award 2002 und hielt sich 7 Wochen an der Spitze der DDC. In Deutschland wurde es die meistgekaufteste Vinyl 2002 und stieg im Juli bis auf Platz 35 der deutschen Single Charts. Erfolgreiche Weiterlizensierungen in die ganze Welt, besonders UK, waren die Folge.

2003 / 2004 begann sich bei Fuldner & Moguai immer mehr der Trend zum eigenständigen Songwriting abzuzeichnen. Aus der elektronischen Tanzmusik heraus, entwickelte sich ein Crossover-Potenzial, in dem sowohl die kantigen, offensiven Clubsounds, als auch der Mass Appeal eines klassischen Popsongs ihre Entsprechung fanden. Beginnend mit Produktionen für die Künstler der ersten DSDS Staffel, zB. Vanessa, arbeitete man 2004 / 2005 schon mit Acts wie 2Raumwohnung oder den Sugababes zusammen. Für ihre innovative Arbeit wurden sie noch im selben Jahr mit einer goldenen Schallplatte für 2Raumwohnung, und mit Doppelplatin für die Sugababes, ausgezeichnet.

Das Jahr 2006 steht nun wieder ganz im Zeichen der Fuldner / Moguai Studioarbeit. Phil himself wird im Sommer seine neue Single in die Regale stellen und nebenbei mit Moguai dessen erstes Album finalisieren. Ein weiteres Highlight für das fast noch junge Jahr ist die Produktion der Sensation White Hymne, für das gleichnamige Mega-Event in der Veltins Arena in Gelsenkirchen.

Seit nunmehr 4 Jahren werden die Musikproduktionen aus dem Hause Fuldner und Moguai nun schon mit dem Firmenbrand M.S.I. versehen. Ausgeschrieben bedeutet das mad support international. Mit diesem Synonym lässt sich die Zukunftsplanung der Produzenten wohl am besten beschreiben: ihren speziellen, eigenständigen Sound aus dem Ruhrgebiet um den ganzen Globus zu tragen. Phil hat seine neue Single diesmal mit seiner eigenen Stimme, und eigenem Text versehen, um so die Mauer zwischen Club- und Popmusik aufzubrechen. Das Ziel ist eben jene Gradwanderung, die schon eine ..Miami Pop.. einzigartig gemacht hat. Gerade viele ausländische, speziell britische und amerikanische Produzenten, haben dieses Club/Pop-Potenzial erkannt, und werden auch 2006 wieder mit Phil und Moguai eng zusammenarbeiten, um ihre spezielle Note einzufangen, und damit die Produktionen internationaler Größen zu veredeln. Hierzu werden auch diverse Remixe, also Neuinterpretationen angefertigt, um Pop Künstler auf die Dancefloors dieser Welt zu bringen.
