::GENERAL:: Electronics.I love them all. When I was a kid I used to take things apart to see how they worked; then I could never put them back together.
Computers. The Age of Aquarius in its infancy. How did I live without the internet for the first 14 years of my life?!
Photography. Time held in place by a piece of paper - it fascinates me. For right now it is only a hobby of mine, I'd like to be a pro... maybe someday.
Fitness. The human form is a beautiful thing - Male and Female alike. I like to stay fit, so I run or bike around the city during the summertime. It helps me focus, and put aside that which really doesn't matter when you look at the bigger picture.
Family. The cosmic joke. God has a sinister sense of humor, luckily I can take a joke. I love them to death - but they can drive me crazy.
Friends. My moon crossed with these peoples' stars and held ice cream hands. Drip. Drop. Into the bowl that is MySpace.
Music
::MUSIC:: I'm a big RADIOHEAD listener. I think OK COMPUTER is brilliant. I've gone through my phases. Aerosmith and Abba to Yeah Yeah Yeah's and ZZ Top. Vocal Trance helps me keep the pace during my cardio, but a playlist sprinkled with some achingly heartfelt vocals from Elliott Smith and some random oversampled 'Timberland produced' ditty are more than adequate for the drive to work. Maybe it's because I'm getting older, but I've noticed music from today just isn't the same.
Movies
::FILM:: My top 22, in alphabetical order, of course; Almost Famous; American Beauty. Central Station. Clueless. Contact. Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. Eat, Drink, Man, Woman. Edward Scissorhands. Fight Club. Grave of the Fireflies. Heathers. Joy Luck Club. L.A. Story. The Mummy Returns. Muriel's Wedding. Pleasantville. Science of Sleep. Singles. Spaceballs. Starship Troopers. Trainspotting. Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me. Hate 'em, Love 'em, I couldn't care less - those are the movies I like.
Television
Books
::PRINT:: I like to read Dean Koontz novels. His ability to get into the minds of the darkest of characters intrigues me. He also writes about places familiar to me. Nothing against Stephen King - but Dean writes about west-coast places. And as we all know, it's all about the west coast.
About me:
I'm the king of my castle (made of
sand). I'm the fool who wears the crown
(made of thorns). I like passion. I like
fun. I like people who make me smile. I
especially like it when people can
retell a story without excessively using
the word "like" and the phrase "you
know?" You know? I do enjoy
seasons in the sun. Any time of year
that I can run around without a shirt on
will do. Summer and Spring are my two
favorite seasons. Nevermind the bloody
noses I get from the hot weather, or
that annoying first sunburn and the
itchiness that follows... I like to work
out and take bike rides around the
Biggest Little City. (Or "BLC" for those
in the know.) These rides make me
ever-so grateful I bought a Mountain
Bike. The snowy winters tear up the
roads like nothing I've ever seen
before. I have a ghetto-suspension
system on the front and rear tires of my
bike, but I still have to lift my body
to spare my ass the shock of the
unforgiving terrain - mind you, these
are city streets I'm talking about.
Snapshots of this city, and its'
ever-changing façade instill a sense of
movement and transition - but alas, no
matter how many face lifts it gets, it
still looks like a white-trash town with
a farmers tan. Reading books about the
west coast, while laying in the sun,
take me away. And for hours I'm
actually there - living on "the western
edge of western civilization." Sunsets
snap me back to reality. I find myself
back in this deteriorating valley whose
inhabitants are hyped up on
crystal-meth, drenched in alcohol,
heated up, dissolved in a spoon and
injected into society. The needle's
tainted with the diseased thoughts that
we may one day strike it rich on one of
the "Mega-Bucks" machines that line the
churches (casinos) of our poisoned
minds.
It wasn't me!! That's all I can say!! Haha, jk... um, well there were 4 different tarantulas that were MURDERED...I dont' even remember who killed them, I just know it wasn't me!! And that is not boredom kicking in, it's talent coming out! ;)
