About me:
My name is Philip Goff. I'm a philosopher. My main research interests are philosophy of mind and metaphysics, although I'll give most things a go. I'm keen on defending both the ontological excesses of substance dualism and the ontological savings of austere nominalism, which I think you have to agree is pretty impressive. I'm also trying to explain why the universe exists.
I'm currently a Visiting Fellow at The Centre for Consciousness, which is part of the Research School for Social Sciences at The Australian National University in Canberra. In September I'm returning to Britain to take up a 15 month lectureship at The University of Birmingham.
I'm also trying to be a rock star (see Tim Poland below).
I'm currently working on some exciting new papers which will appear on my site very soon.
