   About Philip John Brooks
Hi, welcome. I'm a singer/songwriter/musician originally from Blackpool, England. I now divide my time between Georgia and New Mexico. I write songs about people, places and events. This past January I completed my third solo album of original songs. You can hear some of them on this site and also some songs off the previous albums. At present I'm working hard writing songs for another release. This next effort will be a little different, concentrating more on the eastern U.S. Thanks again for joining me on My Space, Philip.

A trough in a stable
Was the strawy first-bed
Of a divine baby -
The forgiving Godhead.

A season for new hope -
There then and here now;
The yuletide of goodwill -
There then and here now.

In respect of this chance,
Beneath bright or dark skies,
Faith's the star that we glance
Attending Christ's churches
And trying to enhance,
With singing and ritual,
Our God-loving stance.
