It's good to hear from you!  You have been into a lot of music, that event at Cecil Sharp House does sound good, Emily Portman is excellent, from the songs I've heard.  Yesterday morning I listened to a little programme on BBC Radio 7 about Cecil Sharp's song collecting with some famous folks speaking, including Shirley Collins.   Yes myspace has got too complicated and commercial, annoying ads popping up all the time when one tries to listen to music.  But, I have just discovered a bunch of fine seventies French Canadian progressive rock, bands I've never heard of, so plenty of discoveries to be made!  Best wishes, Lori x

Hello Phil!  How are you?  Have you been listening to anything new and good lately, or attending any concerts?  I've not been buying music, have been rather carried away by acquiring excellent sixties and seventies tv on dvd instead, well one must have diversions, and I don't watch television but rarely.  Nothing too exciting going on here, apart from unpleasant neighbours moved away and having the electricity cut off three times in a week;  oh and getting commissioned to do paintings for someone, very satisfying to get paid for doing creative work!

By the way, if you look at youtube, there are several new Robin Williamson video clips up there, discovered them a few days ago.  There is even the RW in Concert on there too.  I thought you'd like to know!  Take care, Lori
