   About philip morrow
If you like ships the size of continents filled with eucalyptus trees and cocoa pods the size of some girl's eyes; Or if you're lost in the woods with neither spade nor earth to displace with it, it might make you smile a little, or a lot more, to listen to some of the songs that philip morrow has allegedly written. The truth of course being that he found them on the inside cover of a Steinbeck novel he stole from a second hand book shop in Tangier. _______________________________________________________________________________ This is the new myspace account of philip morrow. Last year he released an album under the band name, The Red Rose Cafe. This year he is making another one using his own birth certificate certified name. Born some years ago in a north westerly corner of Ireland he likes to read books about civil wars when he is not writing songs about the characters in them. These days he lives in Galway in another western corner of Ireland. While there, he plays music with some of his friends who you can see in his top 8 friends list. _______________________________________________________________________________ If you can't wait for the new album to come along, you can get Philip's first record on the iTunes Music Store. All you have to do is search for: 'the red rose cafe', or 'the new year tapes' (that being the name of the album). _______________________________________________________________________________ You can also keep checking this site for news and new songs fresh from the studio and pictures of various happenings. Or if you could also sign up for the blog. That way you don't even have to come to the site, all the news will go to you. Check out some of the people who play with Philip with their own music and stories and pictures : www.myspace.com/emilymure, www.myspace.com/ryanandthelions, www.myspace.com/thecartoonthieves. _______________________________________________________________________________ Here is a link to CDbaby which will let you purchase a copy of Philip's first album, 'The New Year Tapes'. Man your songs, voice, guitar are just beautiful! Anyway, Austin? It's absolutely amazing. It's a city of musicians and the place to be for songwriters. Yup. - Hey, not only are our names almost exactly identical but we have our birthday in the same month.
We're like, almost the same person!

I really want to add Joanne part 3 to my profile! I love it! Dom, Emily, Anka and I are in the country up at Emily's mom's boyfriends house. Last night we went to hear this great band and listened to YOU on the ride home. We miss you man! Our lovely German friend leaves tomorrow and we're all very sad. How are you? How's school and life in Galway town?

Morrow!!! Philfunkel!! What's happening on the other side of the mighty Alantic? I miss ya man!! and so does Anka, Mady, Emily, and Dom! It's so much fun in New York, I love it... I demand you grab your guitar, your multicolored hat, and your green windbreaker and start swimming. Or better yet....take a plane. Yeah that's more practical really. Last night I played my first show in New York with Emily and then played songs in the Subway after. Amazing time...but we need ya here!! Oh and what do you think of the band name 'Ice Cream for Anka'....Dom said it last night when Anka wanted Ice Cream...I though it was a good name. So come to NYC and help us find Ice Cream for Anka! Miss ya man, say hello to everyone for me. Slap Mark's ass for me and give Ulic a big kiss from me:)
