Philipp is an Amsterdam-based guitarplayer, originally from northern germany, he moved to the Netherlands 6 years ago.
He started playing classical guitar at the age of 9 and finally, after trying to become a rockguitarhero in his teens, took to playing jazz. He finished both bachelor and master of music degrees at the Amsterdam Conservatory and enjoyed somewhat of an extended jazz education in the german BujazzO-Bigband.
He had lessons with Peter O'Mara, Frank Haunschild, Jesse van Ruller, Jean Francois Prins, Wayne Krantz, Ben Monder, Chris Crocco and others.
Philipp played concerts with among others: Jesse van Ruller, Richie Beirach, Peter Weniger, Bob Mintzer, Charlie Mariano, Pete Philly & Perquisite, Andy Haderer, Leona, Senna, Cor Bakker...
At the moment he's busy with several projects named under "Band members"

How's it going? How is the album coming along? I'm really curious, hope you put on all the explosion- and fighting noise overdubs like we agreed, haha! I'm going to Latvia on monday with Joe, to do a masterclass for a week, gonna teach people how to slap, tap, drink beer and get a tan on the beach, all at the same time!
My first album 'Waiting to be told' is coming out tomorrow! The release party will be at the Paradiso in Amsterdam. Supertracks and Challenge Records will distribute the album and it will be in stores on the 1st of July. And tonight's performance will be shown on Fabchannel.
