Philips major musical influences vary from the old greats like Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin to the more modern Robbie Williams and Michael Buble. He started out as an actor, then at the age of 17 progressed onto Musicals where he took lead rolls in a number of shows put on by the Operatic society of Hucknall. These included "Will Parker in Oklahoma!" "Sky Masterson in Guys and Dolls" and "Fagin in Oliver!" These built the foundations to Philips musical style and unique performance in which he interacts and involves members of his audience.
Now a specialist wedding singer Philip has performed at a number of scenic locations including, Hazelwood castle, Bestwood Lodge, Colwick Hall, The Belfry Nottingham, The Park inn and the Curry lounge.
The Entertainer is available for weddings, birthdays, discos club entertainment and any other occasion you want to go with a swing!
Philip provides a full disco set up either in between live sets or primarily throughout the night. This features state of the art LCD lighting and an extensive song collection enabling requests both prior to and on the night of the function.
