.........."Life is a gift, sometimes not easily unwrapped without Love."...... Phil Jackson is a successful songwriter who within his lyrics takes on and questions real life issues.He left the U.K. to travel the world ,where he met so many hugely talented musicians and artists. Phil now works extensively throughout Europe and the Balkans, helping talented musicians and bands to compose and write lyrics as he does for many artists all over the world. ..Phil is an accomplished blues guitarist and composer who is currently working in Norway, UK , Bulgaria and America with friends and Artists to produce , compose and help them to complete Albums to be heard in the Europian , U.K and American markets. A difficult task, when most in the industry appear to only look west!.. Phil is also working on his own album, titled "Are you behind me now", which consists of mainly ,blues songs and ballads. .....Phil has produced over 400 songs in the last two years. Phils work consists of writing all types and styles of music,especially lyrics for, raps, blues songs, rock songs, lyrics for black metal, heavy metal, All types of ballads, love songs, short stories and poems and his more recent book for" Your Behind Me Now"................SOUNDFULL... Phil wrote for the band, originally called,"Generation", Now named "Soundfull", for their entry into, Eurovision, a couple of years ago, which can be viewed, on Youtube, "running scared" also ,"Soundfull" a, Burgas rock band ,will hopefully, be releasing more of Phils work ,in the near future ,now that he has returned to Bulgaria...Phil is very good friends with "Mitko" , the lead singer, of "Soundfull ",who, befriended Phil and helped him greatly, on his arrival at Burgas in Bulgaria. Mitko, has also been very helpfull to Phil, introducing him,to many other musicians and Bands ,all over Bulgaria..Soundfull will be releasing there first album soon, we wish them "great success"with that..... SILUET... ........ ...."SILUET", A "multi talented rock band" and my "very dear friends", have released their first "wonderful album", "The Road" ("well done guys!"), which,includes Phils lyrics on "Isolation" and " Think about these things"... SILUET are now already working on thier, Second Album........The first album is available on CD BABY and I TUNES .SILUET, "THE ROAD"...SILUET are to use some of Phils lyrics on the planned second album. Siluet have released the debut vidio /single in Bulgaria, called "As you scream"... "SAY" has just been released also ,which is the version in English written in 2009...The lyrics written by Phil are about being positive ,as, life is too short ..Siluet are now,regularly gigging, throughout Bulgaria /Europe ,to promote there new singles and albums...The band have had two successful tours in Norway,however,offers of work for the band in England ,still remain illussive..... ..Smashed Can... ........ Phil wrote "Forget About Me" and "The one thing you,ve got is the Blues" for "Domby"and "Aramskis "new album/out now..."Smashed Can" are currently working in London, giging and busking, to promote there acoustic blues music. Smashed Can /Domby and Aramski are Blues Artists , from Bulgaria, .. Both are "Hugely great" blues players and are now co- writing and performing together, in London... Richi Mantarlie and the band " thrilled audiences" wherever they played and have recieved numourous repeat bookings and requests to come back to Norway. As did , "Siluet ", who toured thier ,earlier this summer after appearing at "Vinyie rock festival. last summer" Which only reinforces the point guys: That there are, some "amazing bands" coming out of Bulgaria, who are gaining huge support and followings now, from ordinary music fans ,so ,COME ON A and R dudes ,from the west,give these artists a chance too... .. ..D Family and friends.. ........ "Seven Days in Heaven" by" D, Family and friends" ,from Burgas is now released and can be heard at www.myspace.com/dfamilyandfriends .. Seven tracks expertly performed by,.. Zornitsa Dimitrova..Vocals..Stanimir Dimitrova...Guitars..Martin Profirov...Drums..Miroslav Danov...Bass....I am honoured and also very happy ,to have written the lyrics for several of the seven tracks on this beautifully produced and engineered new album.I wish them All ,Great Success for the future in all things..... ....Richi Mantarlie.. ........ I have just recieved a taster unedited track of "Never Enough"and have loaded it on the player for you all to listen to...In my opinion Richi is one of the most talented ,UNSIGNED artist, that I have ever met.His vocal talent and guitar playing are, without a doubt, the very best I have heard ,anywhere and the Lad deserves to be assisted in being heard throughout Europe and America... Richi Mantarlie and Phil were working very closely together last year, writing and producing songs for Richi.s new album "Never Enough"...........Its now becoming a reality and with no help from any producers,promoters or record companies it is near to completion !..... Norway was the first country to " Host" these artists, Thanks Norway. Why Richi Mantarlie ? The guy just "ouses " pure talent ,everything he sings and plays is just amazing .I feel very pleased to be working with Richi ,who is a great person as well as a great Artist . Sadly,because of huge changes in the Industry ,mainly due to the internet and the way people are now choosing to listen and pay for music , countries offering good gigs and lucrative offers of contracts for new bands are becoming more closed off, making tours ,difficult to aquire as competition increases for those tours everywhere and become more aggressively applied for. The record companies who don,t give out as many contracts now or take chances! have become incensed with "sure money making projects", as trends change and cd sales fall ,most musicians now look to choose non traditional and new methods ,to get thier music heard and to become known."Viva myspace"thank you Tom.....Phil feels quite sure that whatever is in store for us all in the future of the music industry ,good artists and talent " will prevail ",even in these difficult times of world reccession. ..People become very resourcefull and must work more closely together. The album is accompanied by a small publication, describing many of the hurdles he overcame ,having to cope with a previous partner..s extreme drug abuse. The album and book are a true story, which will shock ,delight, amaze,amuse and hopefully be an informative guide, to help "other persons finding themselves in similar circumstances. Phil hopes the book and the 22 tracks on the cd will really help others to cope with all the changes to life, to family, friends and also of the huge impact that extreme drug addiction has, on the whole of known normallity .

SOUNDFULL.
Phil wrote for the band, originally called,"Generation", Now named "Soundfull", for their entry into, Eurovision, a couple of years ago, which can be viewed, on Youtube, "running scared" also ,"Soundfull" a, Burgas rock band ,will hopefully, be releasing more of Phils work ,in the near future ,now that he has returned to Bulgaria.
Phil is very good friends with "Mitko" , the lead singer, of "Soundfull ",who, befriended Phil and helped him greatly, on his arrival at Burgas in Bulgaria. Mitko, has also been very helpfull to Phil, introducing him,to many other musicians and Bands ,all over Bulgaria
Soundfull will be releasing there first album soon, we wish them "great success"with that.
SILUET.
"SILUET", A "multi talented rock band" and my "very dear friends", have released their first "wonderful album", "The Road" ("well done guys!"), which,includes Phils lyrics on "Isolation" and " Think about these things"... SILUET are now already working on thier, Second Album..
The first album is available on CD BABY and I TUNES .SILUET, "THE ROAD".
SILUET are to use some of Phils lyrics on the planned second album. Siluet have released the debut vidio /single in Bulgaria, called "As you scream".
"SAY" has just been released also ,which is the version in English written in 2009.

Siluet are now,regularly gigging, throughout Bulgaria /Europe ,to promote there new singles and albums.
The band have had two successful tours in Norway,however,offers of work for the band in England ,still remain illussive.
Smashed Can.
Phil wrote "Forget About Me" and "The one thing you,ve got is the Blues" for "Domby"and "Aramskis "new album/out now.
"Smashed Can" are currently working in London, giging and busking, to promote there acoustic blues music. Smashed Can /Domby and Aramski are Blues Artists , from Bulgaria,
Both are "Hugely great" blues players and are now co- writing and performing together, in London.
Phil visited their site recently to find some new songs, one being ,"Shoot Me Down" that is the best blues song he has heard, in many years.

.......Recently ,a short tour in Norway and Oslo at the begining of 2009 was given by "Richi Mantarlie and the band". Richi Mantarlie and the band " thrilled audiences" wherever they played and have recieved numourous repeat bookings and requests to come back to Norway. As did , "Siluet ", who toured thier ,earlier this summer after appearing at "Vinyie rock festival. last summer" Which only reinforces the point guys: That there are, some "amazing bands" coming out of Bulgaria, who are gaining huge support and followings now, from ordinary music fans ,so ,COME ON A and R dudes ,from the west,give these artists a chance too.

I have just recieved a taster unedited track of "Never Enough"and have loaded it on the player for you all to listen to.
In my opinion Richi is one of the most talented ,UNSIGNED artist, that I have ever met.His vocal talent and guitar playing are, without a doubt, the very best I have heard ,anywhere and the Lad deserves to be assisted in being heard throughout Europe and America.
Richi Mantarlie and Phil were working very closely together last year, writing and producing songs for Richi.s new album "Never Enough"...........Its now becoming a reality and with no help from any producers,promoters or record companies it is near to completion !.
Norway was the first country to " Host" these artists, Thanks Norway. Why Richi Mantarlie ? The guy just "ouses " pure talent ,everything he sings and plays is just amazing .I feel very pleased to be working with Richi ,who is a great person as well as a great Artist . Richi touring, confirmed to many, that he is "one of the finest "Blues and rock guitarists available !!!! with a sensational""" voice. Richi remains unsigned? although recently a positive interest in him has been receaved from a UK based promoter.Also a record company in Australia has also taken a great interest to . mmmmmm? We will anxiously await further developments for him from those sources too.

Sadly,because of huge changes in the Industry ,mainly due to the internet and the way people are now choosing to listen and pay for music , countries offering good gigs and lucrative offers of contracts for new bands are becoming more closed off, making tours ,difficult to aquire as competition increases for those tours everywhere and become more aggressively applied for. The record companies who don,t give out as many contracts now or take chances! have become incensed with "sure money making projects", as trends change and cd sales fall ,most musicians now look to choose non traditional and new methods ,to get thier music heard and to become known."Viva myspace"thank you Tom.
Phil feels quite sure that whatever is in store for us all in the future of the music industry ,good artists and talent " will prevail ",even in these difficult times of world reccession.
People become very resourcefull and must work more closely together. It,s, what we "all" instinctivly do best, in times of crisis ."So please" everyone,"remain optimistic"and try to help other musicians and people, whenever and wherever you can.
Phil has posted several of "Richi Manterlie,s songs" on the page player, "judge for yourselves"! The songs available now were co written with Richi , prior to the begining of his tour in "Norway".
There are several more new songs in the pipeline waiting to be mixed down .
There are so many "very talented artists "and new bands in Bulgaria, that are and will be coming through into the music scene". Visit their sites and decide for yourselves, "Maybe then you may understand why Phil is trying his best to assist and help these previously oppressed musicians" to enable them to be heard in the west". So Guys!!!!!!....... "Fight the "Stigma "attached to Bulgaria". They are certainly not all "criminals , prostitutes" or cheap cover bands to be exploited and underpaid by tight businessmen !!!!! ......A thought!!!!
It is interesting, but yet...also dissapointing , perhaps ,even shamefull, to note that Only a couple" of record companies ,one being " Virginia ", of course !! that are showing an interest, or have or are providing any help or investment, to the many skilled Bulgarian Artists and Musicians available.
They are so professionally dedicated to music, many hold degrees in music and are so commited to the art .
They are a Full " EU member Country!!! "and should be "Encouraged and Enabled" as other member countries to perform in the West, which sadly, begs the question,
Why ? ......."no help,"...... Why .......

Phil has recently agreed to start writing for "Groovy Company. A" Hugely Talented group" of young musicians from " Norway," with a female vocalist so great! that Phil feels they are destined to become " Hugely Famous " in the Music Scene.
It is very comforting to know that with kids like this around, the future of music is "assured" ..To hear and work with young artists of this calibre, is of indescribable importance and a huge Pleasure .
