In my travels I've watched many a Phils game on my laptop thanks to MLB.TV - quite possibly the best invention in the history of inventions. I grew up in south Jersey loving the Phils, and my first - and worst - baseball memory was the Black Friday game in '77. My best was sitting in front of Tug McGraw at the '96 All-Star game and having a brief yet hilarious conversation with him after the game.
Who I'd like to meet: Anyone who loves Philadelphia and the Phillies!
Ok, so pedro and his agent are SERIOUSLY talking to the phils. All I can say is good luck. If he goes over to the dark side, you will need it. The smartest thing boston ever did was to find a sucker (mets) to buy out his 38.5m contract. But hey, if he does the phucking fillies will win the fall classic again. Cuz thats the mets luck.
