About me:
Philadelphia Theatre Company is dedicated to presenting Philadelphia and world premieres of major works by contemporary American playwrights.
For over 30 years, we have put the spotlight on established and emerging American playwrights, emphasizing the rich tradition, unique perspective, and cultural diversity of the American experience. Ever mindful of our responsibility to provide a necessary forum and nurturing environment for the fresh creative voices that will keep American theater vital, we have introduced countless award-winning premieres to audiences in Philadelphia and beyond. Nutterly Love Blog
Expect hot fun in the summertime when PTC collaborates with legendary The Second City comedy theater to create City of Nutterly Love: Funny as Bell!, a world premiere revue. The improv troupe's lauded wit, irreverence, and audience interaction will be showcased in a hilarious spoof of all things Philadelphia. Birthplace of comedy superstars Steve Carell, Bill Murray, Mike Myers, and Tina Fey, the Chicago-based masters of sketch and improv comedy will partner with Philadelphia's funniest actors in a show reflecting Philadelphia in all its diversity, complexity, and hilarity. The revue will feature Philadelphia-centric sketch comedy, songs, and improvisation.

Happy Hour Student Rush
Students with valid ID can purchase one $10 ticket for any performance with unsold seats, except Saturday evenings and Sundays. Tickets available in person on the day of the performance during the following times:
Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays
» 5:00pm-6:00pm
Wednesdays
» 11:00am-12:00pm for 1:00pm matinee
» 4:00pm-5:00pm for 7:00pm evening performance
Saturdays
» 12:00pm-1:00pm for 2:00pm matinee
Advance Student Discount Tickets
Planning ahead?
Buy your tickets in advance and pay just $25 for Rear Mezzanine seating to any performance, excluding Saturday evening. Valid student ID required; subject to availability. Single tickets for the 2008/2009 season go on sale in September 2008.
Young Flex Tickets
If you are 25 years old or younger we have the best deal for you. For 60 Dollars you receive four open passes for any play or performance you like during the 2008/2009 season. You can use them all on one play, or spread them throughout the season.
