Phil Newland and Chuck Davis are both New England natives with way too much background in the regional music scene to go into here. Mostly due to the fact that we'd so totally date ourselves. OK...so we're "almost old".
We play a mix of good listening music from The Band, Bob Dylan, James Taylor, Doc Watson, The Grateful Dead, Little Feat plus standards and of course (ta da!) Original Material!
Phil plays Guitar and sings pretty much all the time. He comes from an extremely musical family. As anyone from middle Massachusetts, especially Munson...home of the famous Magic Lantern...can tell you.
(don't say that in front of Phil...he's a alittle sensitive that way)
Chuck Davis plays Double Bass (acoustic and electic upright)as well as Acoustic Bass Guitar. He's been knocking around the bar circuit for longer than he'd rather cop to. He sings too. Mostly backup. He's just happy to be playing...and breathing pretty much too.
