A little of everything, but I have a particular fondness for punk hybrids (punkabilly, folk-punk, and gypsy punk) and any sort of "-billy" (ie. rockabilly, gothabilly, psychobilly, punkabilly).

About me: I am an activist.
I am a philosopher.
I am a lesbian.
I work with GLBT college kids.
I like to knit and watch low budget & classic horror movies.
I'm a little obsessed with zombies.
I have two very spoiled cats, Baxter and Simone.
I really love good beer.
I'm not afraid to drink a PBR from time to time.
I love to read.
I love Ancient Philosophy-- Plato is my homeboy.
I have an odd obsession with Steve McQueen.
I have a fairly high, fairly refined sense of sarcasm.
I appreciate sarcasm and quick wit.
Who I'd like to meet: Trying to meet new people on myspace is a little like trying to find your soul mate in a hoochie-bar. I'm not here to meet anyone new. I'm here to keep up with the people I already know, or maybe stalk the people I just met through one friend or another last weekend. (Whatever, you do it too. We might as well just add each other as friends. But you first, because it's awkward for me when I don't know your last name and myspace requires that I have that...Oh, you don't know my last name either? Well then...this isn't going to get any easier is it?)
Oddly enough, Henry Rollins and I want the same things in a woman:

Things are ok. I have a job so there's that. Although I think I've had it with public service, especially in this area ( Gull Lake ). There is the big fish in a small pond syndrome running rampant here. Not to mention all the bible thumpers. Small towns = small minds. But at least I'm working. :) I hope you are as fabulous as ever!
Hey Sarah, It's Valerie. I miss you. I miss everything about SB. The new job is just not the same, K-zoo is so much better than I had thought. :) That's all. You're awesome and I wish more people were like you.
